Mashallah this is a true example of Ihsan, I received a tasbih from Basmala Beads as a gift and you can feel the love and care that went into these beads. May Allah bless this endeavor!
Yes, the LOVE is strong. In an age where focus and attention is so rare and fragmented- If you could see the way our craftsmen and craftswomen carve, string, and polish with such presence- is almost otherworldly! Thank you! :)
These beads are different. I've ordered several for myself and family. Thank you for making this video. It makes me appreciate my Basmala beads even more. Alhumdulillah.
Thank you so much for your support. Yes, it's something else altogether when you realize how many hours of focused work went into the beads in your hand! :)
I received my 99 beads Ebony wood Tasbih. It is so beautiful and well made. I can tell that a great deal of hard work went with it's production by very skilled artisans. It is a treasure to have as a tool of worship to our Father God. I'm so thankful that He gave me the good fortune to have it. God willing, It will be my prayer companion for a long time.
I got another tasbih. It is the 33 bead red aqeeq (agate) and ebony one. It is so beautiful and very convenient to carry. It reminds me to remember how God is so good to me and is always protecting me from harm. These tasbihs are precious work of arts and are not disposable items. They are heritage items that should be passed from one generation to another. It's the best gift you can give yourself or someone you love. Whatever I paid is truly insignificant compared to It's quality and beauty.
Assalamu alaikum I am curious about the formation of the head strap of the prayer beads. If you can give a video from the beginning to the end of forming the rope and sewing the balls
The sunnah is to use the joints of the fingers to do tasbih. Other than training children to make dhikr, and helping them focus by counting beads, it is better not to use them, “because of the report narrated by Ahmad (25841) and Abu Dawood (1501) from Humaydah bint Yaasir, from Yaseerah who told her: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed them to pay attention what reciting takbeer, taqdees and tahleel, and to count on their fingers, for they (the fingers) will be questioned and made to speak.” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, no. 2316. It can also cause a person to show off by letting others be aware of the fact that they are doing dhikr. So if possible it’s better to use the finger rather than the beads.
