Time to grow up...i ..i was foolish. I adore women. Were women always this way? Anyways we’re fooling ourselves in thinking women are capable of 1. logical thinking; 2. true emotional connection & genuine sentimentality; 3. anything resembling love. Hmmmm I'm pretty sure the bible is clear that looking is a form of adultery and lust. So when I heard the whole, u might see things that still catch ur eye I thought wow that's not great at all. I hope after u block me u take this to God in prayer and address this. No couple is perfect, lust is just a none negotiable for me personally. God says a husband is to love his wife the way God loves the church. I don't do fake sucky up comments, I just talk the truth and direct, perhaps I'm saying what others are thinking. I loved this video! My favorite part was when Emmanuel spoke about just taking things for what they are. I think sometimes single women (myself included) are just so focused on finding the one that we think EVERYONE is the one. When the truth is that sometimes God will use people to just encourage you in your season. I've had gentleman slide into my DM's with no intention on courting me, just stopping by to say God created a queen. Complete strangers just being vessels OK! I also want to touch on how slow Emmanuel took things with you. Clear confirmation that Gods plan cannot be rushed. His timing is like no other. Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness!

She has a male protector and therefore she can’t be toyed with. 2. He set the expectation of your husband knowing where y’all were heading within a 6-12 month time frame. This is so important for marriage minded women. You don’t have to necessarily verbalize it to a man you’re dating but internally setting that timeframe for yourself, so as to not waste your time with a man that isn’t thinking about marriage is a major 🔑 Practicing celibacy is another kind of covering. Like mentioned, it allows you to think clearly and truly observe who you’re dating/courting outside of the blinding veil of lust. I love the pastor's thoughts about not wasting a woman of minority's time. Too many have fallen in this trap and the kids suffer for it as well. Also celibacy is or overall abstinence is the plan God planned for all of us, because as Emmanuel was saying sex is tied to lust especially when outside of marriage. Also it can cloud judgement . God knew what he meant when he said abstain from sex before marriage, marriage/a relationship is so much more than the physical. You need to also be friends with your partner.

Very practical advice where you mentioned the other aspects one should look at (other than the emotional aspect of love).e.g church, family, education, fit. The Bible mentions being equally yoked. Lots of marriages fall apart because the 2 are not aligned.
