As a pastor I've seen far too many couples who do not have their relationship with God figured out. God is 1st in every relationship...period! Get that right and all else will fall into place. By the way that relationship isn't just about going to church and quoting scripture it's a daily walk with God through Jesus. You two have that figured out and I praise God for you.

Thank you - You are another couple that reminded me of the importance of making God the first in our life. He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. I wandered off course for a while. I thought it was God who granted me permission to read romance books while my sister was going through her illness and eventually her death. I continued on that path for several years because it took a while to come from under the weight of her absence. When I was ready to put the books aside, I expected God to take the desire to read them away. I had guilt also in reading them because I wanted to please God. Seeking Him I wanted Him to give me a road map. A sure way to avoid mistakes or getting lost along the way. I owe Him so much. He does so much for me. I want for nothing. Yes, I would love to have that person that loves me enough to say, I Do. But outside of that, my wants are or needs especially are available to me. I pray God continues to shower His blessings upon you and yours. Thank you for sharing part of your journey.
