Brings back memories 🤣🤣 we also came with 489 skilled regional visa (South Australia regional sponsorship ) and we stayed in the regional area for 2 good years 😀 b4 applying for PR and now Citizens 😀

A little contribution to what Dami said. Skill assessment last for 3 years and the juicy part is that, you can always renew it after 3 years for just applying for a renewal. The bulk of the work is the initial time you're assessing your occupation. Just in case it expires after 3 yrs, you don't need to do any major paper work again to renew it. So, it's always good to do your assessment once and for all.

Most sponsored jobs do not require IELTS, but the employer may still exercise discretion to ask for English Language proficiency depending on the job.

Uche came in on the 489 visa which has now been replaced by the 491. In the video, she was mistaking her visa for the 482, reason for the corrective text over her voice.
