We set up a Waterland tub for our pair of Western Painted turtles. We also closed off an area for the Redfoot and Cherryhead tortoises. We will get to the pond next weekend 😵💫 Thanks for watching! Susan & Bob
I have a midland painted and I think a eastern painted . I found both this past year in my pool before I opened it for the season. I have a similar setup for them both. 2 males.
Are those gold fish? Someone told me you can not put gold fish with turtles that it was toxic for turtles to live with gold fish or eat them??? Is that true?
Hi! They do overwinter outdoors. We had them in the 300 gallon tubs the past 2 winters. They will not stay in this, it is temporary until we finish the pond :) They are an awesome species, stay small, great for our PA climate, great eaters and really beautiful colors
