Nice! We have a rangerunner and sleep four, but our kids are much smaller (1 and 3) so we all sleep together so far and it’s plenty of room. It’s actually easier than hotels since the baby can’t go anywhere unsafe or fall off of a tall bed. We are working on getting a bunk system built up.

Cool. Yeah, this won't work for us forever. And I'm no sure my wife would be up for another 2-week roadtrip like this, but it's not bade for weekend camping trips.

@@OutoftheOfficeAdventures we camped in ours for 5 days, and I’m excited to go on longer trips! I’m focused on designing some organization for us so our things are easier to coordinate. Did y’all mount your bunks to the walls or did y’all just wedge it in tightly?

I got a Runaway Navigator back in 2015. It has been a great camper. I recently gave it to my daughter and treated myself to a Teardrop. Thanks for sharing the videos.

Looks ideal. Nice to tow it to the quieter places.

All the benefits of a camper, but it's so small it tows like it's not even there, so you can get into and out of more places, and it's not a big production.

Great use of your 6x8! I have the 38x75x6 trifold sofa-bed in my 4x6 v-nose cargo/camper And the twin bed size is quite cozy with just the wife and I. She's 5-8 and I'm 5-10... But, in sofa mode it's fine. We cook outside under an awning with an induction cooktop running off a solar/battery/inverter setup. Basically, Beats the heck out of a tent!

Maybe as the girls get older you could consider adding a rooftop tent to your setup

Nice idea! I’ve got two kids that are 2 1/2 years old and 2 months old. I’d like to get a trailer in a few years. I’d like to sleep everyone inside. This seems like a unique option, or also adding a roof top tent or having people sleep inside the tow vehicle with seats folded down. I like the option of sleeping inside the tow vehicle the best, but the biggest down side is splitting up the family, but I suppose the girls could be in the trailer, boys in the tow vehicle.

You might look into a rooftop tent for the girls. Might keep it fun for them into their teens. At my age, I look at it as a solo or adult couple sleeper, perfect for me for fishing, hunting, or just camping and hiking around. I'm getting a 6x8. If I could find a 5x10 or 5x12, I'd probably go for it. I like the narrow-ish wheelbase, but I'd have more flexibility with something a tad longer, and not lose much in fuel or maneuverability. The "off-road" suspension, to me, is more about taking a beating on rough roads. You can wear one out, pretty quick, if you take it anywhere interesting.

Looks cool 😎 Btw: the white brackets are referred to as cantilevers. 👍

The link to the mattress is a dead end. I'm trying to find the exact one which seems to have two separate folds for the "pillow" area. Do you have the exact one on amazon?

I enjoy your videos. I’m curious, though, how do you attach things to the side of the camper? Our 6x8 venturist will be arriving in a few weeks and I am looking for ideas.

Rotopax and propane take came with it. Fairly easy to bolt things on the side as long as they're caulked and sealed.

Attaching to walls is easy when you know where the 'studs' are. Make sure your screws are short enough for your wall thickness. On the outside, Butyl tape between the body and what you're attaching makes a good seal.

It's a shame this video only has the left audio channel. Next.

Actually not too bad in the winter if you crack a window. And in summer, the AC keeps it quite cool.
