As basic as this dish looks fried cheese coated with breadcrumbs is one of the traditional meals here in the Czech Republic. In this episode I visit a Asian restaurant, I will show and try the food what they have.
The guy was really nice and yeah, what he said was true. A lot of "asian" restaurants sell a lot of fast food, but there are also solely Vietnamese restaurants out there and man, you have to try one of those, you won't regret.
Very good customer service by this Vietnamese fella. He seems very well educated, carries himself really well for a guy who works at a take-out counter. His customer service is a lot better than some more expensive restaurants Ive been to.
Thats the difference when somebody works at the family business or his own business and just a random employee with nothing at stake. He is smart enough to know that if you treat customers like shit you will eventually go bankrupt.
@@borispsalman It's also a difference between student who is doing this after school, to help their own family, and someone who is unhappy doing a sh*tty job.
I FEEL SO ASHAMED by the fact that this vietnamese bistro handled whole situation with its customer about x100 times better then your last trip to the PIVOVAR. WOW ! Big props to you Andree for cool videos AND big props to VIETNAMESE community here in czech republic, MY EXPERIENCE with those people is always 10/10
The Vitnamese place in Brno the guy mentioned is situated in Olomoucká street. There are lots of shops there and also the biggest Vietnamese restaurant in Moravia. However I have never been there. If thinking of visiting Brno I would strongly suggest to drop in PEGAS. The first microbrewery in Moravia founded in 1992.
I visit the Vietnamese restaurants at Olomoucká quite a lot and i strongly suggest ithw. Inside there are 5 restaurant and one bufey. My go to is Tràng Tiên and for sushi Chuť Hànôi. If you ever plan to visit you should give them a try.
I always thought it was a strange place for a restaurant...its far away from any residential areas (about 15 mins of walk from the nearest along the main road, tho there is a bus stop across the street), there is an industrial district (where I work and thus I know about the place), there is also a highschool next to the place but I have never seen any students going there.
@@kalinmir the place was never meant to be a restaurant area if you know what i mean but somehow people found out there are the authentic Vietnamese food places so they made it into that. But now.. if you show up around the lunch time you might not find an empty seat. You should definitely give it a try tho
A přesně, dobré velké porce dobré ceny a super lidi. Hned sem dostal na něco hlad :)
Prehliadol ste jeden velmi podstatny detail.
Asian restaurants in Czechia are the best. The staff is always kind, the food is great and prices affordable. I've been eating it several times a week for years and never gotten tired of it.
I feel hungry now. I am glad you took the food with you, I hate wasting any food. Next time I go to the Czech republic it will be out of Prague for sure.
Like he said you should visit the asian market here in Brno. Its pretty big and it would be interesting to make a video about it. If you need a guide Im here for you😃👌
Hey Andre, I see you like Asian food, and the spices used in Vietnamese cousine are my favorite too. If you'll go to Prague, you should definitely try my favorite Vietnamese restaurant - pho NamNam, I have never tasted vietnamese done better and the people there are so welcoming and friendly.
Nice to see such great customer service, nice to see you guys getting along. CZ customer service can sometimes be a little off putting as the people serving are sometimes cold and not very helpful.
Hiya, Andre! I like your videos, because you show to people Czech republic and slovak republic. Most people in England think we are ,,eastern europeans.. even do not have a normal toilet. I was living in England, exactly in Brighton and Hove.
man i miss jerk chicken and curry goat and stuff like that. or just simple barbecue ribs as i moved from uk. so i understand. it was always somewhere around and affordable.
Only 123kč? (5EUR) :o To u náš by sme za to dali bez kofoly 5eur a za kofolu by si vypýtali 1.50-2.00€ a ešte za prílohu tatarku by si vypýtali 0.50€=7.50€ :( I go live Czech Republic
You have to try out the Chinese restaurant in Havlíčkův Brod because the food there is really cheap and actually tastes amazing, highly recommended. Musíš vyzkoušet tu Čínskou restauraci v Havlíčkově Brodě protože to jídlo tam je velmi levné a doopravdy vynikající, vysoce doporučuji.
U were cutting your food with the wrong side of the knife tho :D not hating u just saying cos it was funny And also you have a great content man I really like it, keep doing that
In jirkov’s tescos there’s a asian restaurant similar to this one definitely check it out if you’re ever in jirkov , also the castle červený hrádek (Red castle) , it would be a great video
Actually another think iam 16yo and i can finish this portion esily. I would normaly get pekingskou polivku+ the cheese and eat it all.
Thing about asian bistros and restaurants in central Europe is just sheer bang you get for your buck. I live in bratislava and I've been to many Asian owned and Asian styled establishments. Portions are 2-3 times bigger than what you'll get anywhere else. If you ever come to Bratislava hit me up 💪👍
I totally agree. Asian food has much more seasoning. I like asian food much more than Czech or Slovak food. But still, the best choice is to replace food sometimes not to be eating still the same food.
While the asian fast food in malls can be more tasty than typical McDonalds stuff, it is still relying on on frozen groceries, spice, soy sauce and frying. I would recommend to visit real asian restaurant, and buy some "slow-food". Some of those places are great for shooting videos, since they also have interior esthetics very different from czech restaurants.
