@@НиколаТесла-ю7т lol I’m not saying that Djokovic isn’t better, I’m just saying that you can’t go around saying 40-15 to undermine all of his accomplishments
@@7Roxer still very impressive when you consider how many highlights Federer has in his career it's no secret that Federer was likely the most intelligent player in the tour a huge reason why he's so successful on court
Finally got the comment I was searching for! Agreed completely with you! We may not be their fans but every player in whatever game it is, be it tennis, football, cricket anything, deserves respect🙂 and good wishes too!
@Srinivas M I think the GOAT debate is stupid to begin with. What is "of all time", seriously? Like greatest to ever been and to ever will be? Everyone knows the game is gradually evolving, so today's arguments won't even be relevant in say 20 years time. Support who you like and that's it.
@@bounw21 We all know that’s not true. The era of tennis we are watching right now with the big 3 is the most incredible, considering how they’ve dominated the game. And GOAT means greatest of all time in HISTORY. Of course we have no idea what’s going to happen in the future, but based on tennis history so far, we can crown a goat.
I literally don't know what I will do when he retires.. he started playing professionally in 1998, the year in which I was born. I literally watched him play all my life and he is my favourite player since I can remember. He affected me and my tennis. Such a role model. peRFection. Tennis will feel a lot different without Roger Federer..
Well said! I am a little older than you and it's exactly the same for me ever since I first saw him in 2001. The guy is a class act and a real inspiration for me especially during a couple of low moments in life. Just wish he could play forever!
I feel the same way. I'm trying to "prepare" myself for that day by finding some other players to really get behind. But I can't form the same attachment to any other player. I am kinda upset that I didn't get into tennis until 2011, but i am sure glad I still got at least a decade with Federer as my tennis idol, far more than I thought to be honest.
I become his fan when Nadal overtook him as the world no.1 😀. I don't care he loses against Djokovic and Nadal most of the times since I became his fan (watched him for the first time) ,it just gives me immense pleasure to watch him play.I can't imagine tennis without Federer and yes,the 2019 Wimbledon final hurt me a lot 😭😭
Random factoid : between 1981 and 1987 Jahangir Khan won 555 squash matches in a row. In tennis, the record is without a doubt Esther Vergeer in wheelchair tennis as she retired with a 10 year long ongoing winning streak of 470 matches ! Far behind there is Suzanne Lenglen, a french player from the 1920s with 181 (and a career record of 332-7 !), then, in the open era, Martina Navratilova with 74. As for men in the open era, the longest streak is 46 by Novak Djokovic. Before the open era ? Not sure... Bill Tilden maybe ?
@@akaRicoSanchez Vilas has the record with 46, Novak longest winning streak is 43 matches in a row in 2010-2011 until Federer defeated him in the FO semis.
Always good to see Djoker fans obsessed with Federer in the comments section. Evidence that they need avenues other than Djoker's tennis to keep themselves entertained. 👍
Wow even in an interview video there's loud dumb 'rap beats'. Makes you want to turn volume down, which in turn makes whole video useless... well done!
The music beat is so annoying. Do you think our central nervous system is made to receive all these inputs?! It’s impossibile to listen to Roger’s words while that crazy irregular beat hits your ears. Please cut that off, it is just incredible that someone had thought to put that music in the background on purpose. Are you serious?
if he retires, I dunno what we are all supposed to do with ourselves. like, just get used to non beautiful tennis? not care about who Rafa plays in the final of a grand slam? have someone else win the stefan edberg sportsmanship award? not see him show up at wimbledon in july? sounds fake but okay.
@@Nyphe stfu Frauderer fangirl 😂 Frauderer has won most of the Grandslams against Hewitt Fernando Gonxalez Safin Philippossis Andy Roddic Maracas Baghdaris old Agassi 😂😂😂😂😀 When it comes to strong opponent Lost multiple times against Rafa at Grandslam at Roland Garros Lost to Rafa at AO 09 and Wimbledon 08 final lmao Beaten by Young Del petro at USO 09 final Thrashed by a teen Novak at AO 08 😂😂😂 A weak era champ indeed
@@kc7470 Lmao then watch Frauderer's game....He'll lose within the 1st three round...😂😂😂😂 I am stating only facts boi 😂... I know " Facts don't care about Frauderer fanboy's feelings " ..lmao
Well well well Feds 1000th Match was also a FINAL (which he won) and his LAST MATCH of the season. He beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the ATP Tour Finals in 2011. It was his 70th career title. Also a record making 6th ATP Finals title. How cool is that! 😀
The guy is amazing. Tenniswise we all have our favourites but from a neutral perspective, these 3 big players (u know who I am talking about) are simply out of this world. There will never EVER be such an era in this sport! 🐐🐐🐐
