Cho sung hoon has great leadership skills. The way he guided the whole team is amazing. They had strength and good strategy. Can't wait to see the 3rd team. I really really hope they will get selected to the next round.
This team has shown great teamwork with great leadership. Sung Bin's team is too confident about their physical strength so they had little flexibility in strategy. They only pulled the boat, which drained them physically and brought little effiency of moving the boat. I'm currious about team 3, they are light weighted....
This team will probably have the best record. They showed the best teamwork so far. Yoon Sung Bin's team just showing brute strength with almost zero coordination lol. And isnt push better than pull? lol
Suppose if there is an option to empty the barrels before loading them on the ship, then would the third team have a chance? Or options to make the ship lighter by removing the mast, etc. The rules for such things is unclear. Work smarter, not harder though.
@@suek9872or put the barrels in once the ship is tied to the anchor at the last minute. 2 tons is too much hard work to push to the end. the rules arent clear on what Not to do though.
@@ReadinOutLoud the rules are clear.. you have to have all the barrels on the ship before you can even try to move it. you have to stop using the wood rods once you get to the incline
I hope Jang Eun Sil's team can come up with something to overcome their strength disadvantage. Sand on the slope, a second pulley system to get more efficiency or tying the rope to a log for better handling seem possible ways to win. But maybe there is no hidden trick like in The Genius and it's only pure power that can win.
I feel the same way, I want her to be successful but how!?! Either they move the boat over first and then place the barrels in, but it's still 1.5 tons to move.
I really hope that they take in consideration of total weight of everyone in a team for this challenge to be fair.. Just like the redemption battle because it is so obvious that the last team is gonna be last
@@wereonlyhuman3289 Redemption battle wasn't fair for heavier players. Strength doesn't directly correlate in proportion with weight. (ex: 2 times heavier doesn't mean 2 times more strength) You could see only lightweight participants survived. It's only fair to make it more advantageous for heavier participants in this round.
The only way the last team (team with mostly girls and skinny guys) can win this is to use the logs as leverage. Putting that logs under the rows on each side, taller players may push the logs upward, then even 4 people might be enough to move the ship forward. it won't be fast but at least they can get the thing move forward.
this show is just unfair for team 3 especially for the loser team who had to go through a brutal revival challenge just to probably lose this challenge
Maybe the 3rd team will be one of the teams to proceed for the next challenge. Don’t underestimate the underdogs, this challenge isn't about physically strength but mostly mental strength. As we could see, the 2nd team just purely used their physical strength without strategizing at all. They might end up at the bottom. My two cents✌🏼
@@sheilahmaeromines7776 i really hoping they can win! it's such a shame the challenge was revealed before teams were picked and too sad everyone underestimated them
@@sheilahmaeromines7776I really hope so, I want the underdog team to win. I think team work, a very determine mine set and a good strategy is also a strength so I’m crossing my fingers and hoping against all odds. This shows had me hooked since episode 1.
I doubt they will give up. 3rd team doesn't look promising to me either, to be honest, but they have come this far, at least they will try their best even if they don't win
@@misscaptain5744 Miracle stopped the team from rolling the ship on top of the rope which would've made the killed the pulley system. I'd say he helped a lot.
Idk what you’re implying the whole team were in it together pinpointing miracle knowing full and well he helped was not needed 💀 the 2nd team had great power but nobody in that team has brains sadly 😅
@@Carlos-yi6qm they showed the time of both teams at the same spot near the end and Team 1 was around 4 minutes faster and Team 2 wasnt even finished and were slower at the end
@@mosmeister9445 they edit those things all the time though. We really have no idea their times. It wouldn’t make sense to openly reveal time while also trying to create a suspenseful show
I have a question, they were required to lift the ship which was said to be 1.5 Tons but the barrels made it to 2.0 tons instead. If anyone knew what was happening will they be allowed to remove extra weights besides the barrels?
Imo the only reason why this teams time was better than the other two teams is how fast they managed to take the ship off the platform, the lift and push at the start
What an odd show to cry to. This episode was edited beautifully to exhibit what makes these two teams great. Shed a tear when they succeeded. In fact it's so beautiful I scheduled a mountain climb.
Underdogs SLAYED! these 2 groups are just afraid of LOSING, and ended up parthnering with each other! bunch of p****! UNDERDOGS KINGS AND QUEENS and are braver than these 2 leaders and their members combined
What do you mean it's a game show to win a ton of money. Why would you not want to form and partner with the strongest team? The only rationale I could understand is wanting to thin out the strongest competition before the individual challenges based on strategy rather than physicality, but that's clearly not what you're saying lol
... watching on the edge of my seat! So proud of the underdogs, team no.3! Still enjoying this show but i feel that it shouldn't give the contestants so much power to choose teams... because it can be unfair to the women remaining in the comp. I was really rooting for team no. 3 but they fought valiantly together. Awesome work to all teams!
I think the production failed on delivering a fair team selection process. They try keep suspense up in post production, but anyone can see that team 3 is at a huge disadvantage. OP teams are not very interesting to watch, a problem very prominent in many sports today. Should have hired some pro game designers for that.
i watched this today and dragging across the whole surface deck is a waste of energy with that much friction. Cant believe no one thought of lifting it up and pulling a log underneath the first phase. Friction is the name of the game - u watch people pull trucks because they have wheels...
Thats what I was thinking also, but maybe they werent allowed to do that. I was also thinking why they didnt unearth the barrels, put them aside, move the boat and then load it. No team tried that, so maybe that wasnt allowed either.
@@TB-yk7bn Nah lifting was allowed but only this team actually thought of it, hence why they won by like 6 minutes. They did figure it out pretty late but still lol
Kudos to the production team. I can't imagine how many times this course was tested and adjusted for precise level of difficulty, timing, safety, filming, etc. Doing it once, with extreme motivation, seems herculean.
Yeah the design is incredible. They got it dialed precisely to the point where it can be completely but only with maximal effort and good strategy. The production team must be jacked lol.
The thing I love about this quest that it’s not about how strong you are but how you use your strength. It’s all strategy. They did so well working together distributing the work. They killed it
i think i came up with a good strategy pls let me know if u have any opinions i'd say have the team members with the strongest lower body push the boat and have the other members pull back and up (lift) from the front also, when it's time to move a log to the front, the last two members (one from each side) should bring the log to the front while all members move back one pole to make space for them
Been supporting chu sung hoon since Superman days. He’s my final pick here and I’m so glad that he’s proving himself despite being the oldest here. His leadership skills is seriously something. I think this proves that this show is not simply about strength. It’s about strategy, stamina, endurance, and teamwork too
That first team had teamwork, coordination and a well thought out plan of attack but they also had some senior members that knew how to lift and pace themselves. Honestly, everyone on that team was doing work. It was super well rounded
From the subtitles, it said this would be a pulling challenge, but then apparently you can push and lift, whatever. So I think the skinniest team will fail at this, however there might be a "trick" or easier way to move this, who knows. Maybe the third team will think of a smarter plan, but from looks of it,the skinny team will be eliminated*
