So sad to see absolutely nothing given to rein, his design used to be the epitome of what a tank was - decision making, clear strengths and weaknesses, etc. Now you can play orisa, ramattra, who are good at poke AND brawl. I miss rein. He deserves better.
I'd be so much happier if they brought back Post Game Medals and On Fire. The scoreboard does a very poor job at showing Supports contributions to a match. As soon as someone sees your Healing is lower than anyone elses, you're first to get blamed. (Even better when you've contributed to DPS Dmg stat at the expense of your own H stat)
I agree, I further think they should add a medal for utility usage. Being able to see that an Ana got a hard 20 sleeps in a game or Kiriko cleansed x number of statuses would really help guide players to understanding the role of supports better.
Funny how they removed medals, on-fire and post-game cards to decrease toxicity in lobbies, yet implemented a scoreboard. Now everyone compares their stats to one another to validate their plays or harass others for mistakes/contribution. Smart move Blizzard. POG is the only way to get noticed for smart plays now.
I still do not understand why nobody is talking about Ball. Other than a tweet from devs that's it. Ball players are out here sliently suffering. At this point, I feel if they don't care about ball just move him to DPS so that teams can have a "real" tank and people can still play ball without getting reported and cussed out for simply playing who they want. I think A10 said it best last video on this topic, high skill floor characters like Doom, Ball and Tracer are hard to get value with without 10s of 100s of hours on the character. With that being said, I truly feel that Ball will fade from the game and should just be removed if the devs do not want to deal with him. There are other heros that need love to like Rein, I'm not saying Ball is the only one, but i've been commenting on videos, (which they always recieve no responses or likes), tweeting devs , and reaching out to streamers becasue they actually have a voice, and still nothing. I don't want Ball to be meta but at the very least playable enough to stop getting cussed out and reported before the game even start.
Hey A10, I am a high SR tank player on console (hit 5k last szn). I’ve been grinding Ramm. I found that the BEST use of his vortex is during his ultimate. Throwing it behind where they want to go and popping ult is very underrated rn.

I do feel that rein gets worse and worse as a tank these days, now orisa does damage through shield, ramattra too, I mean why even have a shield... he really needs a buff to get back in the game again as a tank.

It’s funny to me how people cry about (already nerfed) kitsune but think an indefinite Auto aim damage ult on a tank that is faster than any other tank and has almost 700 hp with shields and an indefinite block ability seems like a fair and balanced ultimate, especially when contesting a point/payload
Well yes, when he has a massive hitbox, his auto aim does low damage and he himself has a low range slow easy to dodge attack, while having to go out of cover to use it.
100% this, people act like his ult isnt game deciding bs that is literally not possible to be countered in these situations, just bc it’s easy to throw his ult in mid game situations

*Sojourn nerf was absolute trash* Primary fire spread just makes her aim harder thereby nerfing low tier players. Where the problem initially were high tiered players maining sojourn. All they did was nerf low rank sojourns, top rank sojourns (who were the problem to start with) are still broken.
Any nerf with soujourn will nerf lower elo players more anyways. It's just a higher skill floor character to play 🤷♂️ they just made the spread higher to high elo players with good aim can't hit their shots all the time. Sure, the spread affects low elo players but a nerf is a nerf
Aim spread nerfs affect high tier players more than low-tier players. It reduces the reward for accurately tracking & actually rewards bad aim by sometimes landing stray bullets even when the player’s cursor was off.
Can we talk about how kiriko is better in every way vs baptiste? 12second coldown inmortal, not to count the teleport which gives her inmortal as well, vs baptsite with a 24 second coldown NON INSTANT inmortal. plus the healing abllity(about 13s of cd) has about 0.5 cast time (which in that time you die before you recieve the healing). It feels so dumb
Bap is also hit scan and can play against flyers better, break down shields a lot faster, has a jump that helps in certain situations, and has big aoe healing potential.. that being said kiriko being meta at least she's a newer character and not extremely broken (besides her ult being OP)
Bap feels a lot better into shields. Kiriko also doesn't really contribute much damage at all, so with certain comps your back line could be teethless. Bap has a massive amount of poke, AOE healing, and is a little harder to take down. Sure Kiriko can run, but then your other support is left to die (which is what most Kiriko's do btw, really annoying. A back line with Bap CDs up is very hard to kill and can actually force the aggressor out instead of just leaving them there.
bap has faster, more consistent, hitscan damage, and lesss tunnel vision-ish, faster aoe healing. They have better fundamentals, even if worse abilities I didn't know about the 0.5 casting time on health burst, no reason I've been dying whenever I hit it, it's this bullshit. Thanks for this.
Doom doesn't counter ram anymore cause the whole matchup between the two was that doom was supposed to punch him away when he uses nemesis form so he couldn't get near the team. Now it doesn't really matter cause he just walks back towards you and your team. Faster than regular walking speed so he just out runs everybody. So yeah doom really struggles now. Especially with the punch cool down change. You sort of just punch him and he takes those 2 out of the 4 seconds to just walk back in his punch range towards you and your team. So if you had my opinion. Rams gonna be meta without a doubt in my mind. Especially since the support meta still hasn't really changed even with the Ana buffs because kiriko is just so overpowered and has been for already a season and still hasn't gone anywhere. Not to mention when he's paired up with Lucio as well. You just run towards the enemy like It's a Ram rush/poke comp.

as a doom player i am done. 1st they make him a tank, less fun, but viable. s1 starts and he is less fun and shit. they buff him for s2, he is powerful, but still not broken and he gets one week, only one week and gets nerfed in a worse state than s1.
i was fine with nerfing him a little bit, BUT they HAD to nerf the FatShitter and not nerf 3 abilityes at once. Powerblock now doesnt charge on pharah/junk directs, and the empowered punch itself is now so much worse. Just pog man, pog. I would love to know what critical error did not allow them to remove damage resistance from his heal or some temporary nerf like that
lol he was completly broken this season, also you seem to forget one thing, doom was shit, not only because of his state but also because players where shit at him, doom is supposed to be hard to play for people who do not play him alot, same as genji or widow, if everyone could instantly get very hight value on them then actually skilled players would be insane. I just believe we need to give the community a litle time on doom so they learn him and he will fit in decently

I would prefer if the made kirkos suzu just clense with a lower cool down. Or make it clense and reset the cooldown of whoever it hits other than suzu ofcourse. Get rid of immortality. I think clense is enough actually on a lower cool down maybe 8 seconds
I've had the idea that instead of prevention, it's reduction. I think it would fit with the idea of her ult halving the cooldown of everything. So, instead of damage prevention, it would reduce damage taken, instead of removing purple right away, it would halve the duration, etc, etc.
doom take was horrible, the only nerf they needed to make was his overshield, but my nerfing power block and punch that hard it has turned him into an F tier tank again
Doom is literally unplayable right now, he’s punch does not have enough value to justify the 4 sec. That plus his survivability is way down, a tank who has 450 health and can’t really move… he’s in a sad state

Hi A10, love your content as always I've been playing tank for about 1500hours, I love it it's awesome and so is ow However lately I feel absolutely no pleasure in playing tank, or playing ow in general, every game is the same, you want a good game and you face a hog I don't know what do to against him, I've tried pretty much every pick, sigma counters most hook but you can't be everywhere, DVA matrix most hooks but sometimes u are too far away, zarya bubbles are great but if you use some for attacks u can't protect your teammates yada yada I don't know how to have fun again in this game
I don't like the ability cooldown decrease on Kiriko ult. The rest of her ult is already absolutely great, but faster cooldowns on top of it all is far too powerful. I think they should save that for another support, since Kiriko already has a really high impact and unique utility like suzu.
I genuinely gave up on OW2 tonight. after some particularly poor matchmaking. Sad day, because I played OW1 during season 1, 1,210 hours on Mercy, and a total of 9,957 games. The death of a franchise as far as I'm concerned; and good riddance. Best of luck to you and your viewers, however.
They can't, not because they are incapable of doing so, they can't because deep down they don't want to. It took me six years to finally realize that a PVP game was never what Blizzard wanted to make. OW was a fluke salvage operation that was insanely successful getting GOTY, but they didn't want it to start with. So when the decision was made to make a PVE game based on market research, this fit right into their original MMORP visions for a game, the kind of thing they like working on. They then neglected the game starting from late 2018, undermined OWL, and disregarded everyone who told them how to fix the issues at every turn. Why? Because all they want is to work on world-building and don't enjoy working on the PVP game and would like it to just sit in the corner on maintenance mode drawing funds in for their time to piddle on the PVE game. All it boils down to. They don't like PVP and by extension, disregard the PVP playerbase. Trust me on this, deep down Blizzard hates the PVP game and I believe wishes it would just go away, and you along with it.
lol no, what did you smoke, they make so much money of it, also I belive why they are so bad at balancing is that they look at the stats to much instead of how th e game feels, and ofc they want some charakters to be meta because they would draw more people into the game. they just refuse to hear out their comunity, content creators and owl players for the balancing.
@@fractalelf7760 liking their product is not the the main focus of a company, they do what makes them money and it does not matter what it is as long as it gets them the money, big companies do not care about any of their titles anymore, they just publish whats makes them most. they earn alot of money since the launch of ow 2, they put a litle work into it so asumming they want everyone to forget about it and delete it is far from the truth. they love overwatch for the money it makes, if it stops masking money they will stop working on it, like on ow 1.
@@capten272 I will tell you from experience with a game company it makes a big difference, the devs themselves for the most part DO NOT SEE the profits, so much of their satisfaction comes from working on things they like. The way a dev treats a game is no small part a reflection of their enthusiasm. It's the difference like a parent who loves a child deeply treats them and fosters them vs. one who is indifferent.
@@fractalelf7760 the devs have no say in anything they do what they are required to do, in ow 1 the biggest problem cam from the higher placed who made decision on changes and the different teams jsut work on them, what I know is that most of the devs where very frustrated because of the decision made in ow 1 during the development of ow 2, ther devs do love the game but don't have alot of say, and sometimes those who make the big decisions are incompetent thats what happened during the development of ow 2
You can still use 2 granades for every suzu and then just sleep the target. Ana's granades has almost the same duration than junker ult and you can just throw it every 7 seconds without commiting to anything.

The Ana change isn't good, it's a joke and barely helps at all. It's not gonna stop anybody (besides Tracer) pouncing on her. Drop her sleep duration and CD significantly, that would be a meaningful buff.
@@WildImprint That’s utterly false. She is extremely difficult to survive with. Has 0 mobility whatsoever, and has less healing and damage output than Bap. Not to mention her abilities in general are heavily aim-focused, especially sleep.
I think kiriko needs to have a strong ultimate given her lack of damage carry potential. Since her kunai are strong but inconsistent she needs a way to climb that isn’t just accessible to the very high skilled players (GM and T500). Ana has her anti nade, her sleep, and her damage while bap has his window and his damage output but kiriko has no offensive playmaking potential that a gold or plat player can implement into their play style. Maybe shorten the duration of kitsune so it requires more skill to use like timing ana’s nano.
why the ramatra barrier only buff omnic form? Why tracer was overpower? am i the only who time wrong kirko suzu and idk how to use her ult. These are my buff to orisa: Ult range increase like 10% maybe more. Charge ult time like when using it by 10% or more. each enemy in it increase the charge by 5% or less. Her old kit match the lore more like a proctecter not a javelin killer. I always mss her javelin idk why probably skill issue. Also reduce her cooldowns a bit. I don't think movement need cause she is not for speed but maybe increase her base movement speed by 5 or 10% and maybe her javelin spin speed and time by 5% or more idk. Buff support pls
