To be fair it does look like it's the bare minimum of evolved and would likely bulk up again and not stay thin due to his body density going higher from the evolution. I think it's true the pink will go and his dorsals look a bit fleshy and see through kinda like a crab that has molted and takes time to harden it's shell. It hardening could mean we will likely see them grow denser which should allow him to to be able to hold the energy better and possibly grow it even more along with his durability!
So we are likely going to see the complete transformation in the next film. Now it just depends on how they want to change him up. Adam Wingard kept Godzilla's design in GVK the same to maintain visual continuity with KOTM and to make sure audiences knew that it was our Godzilla. GXK is when he decided to really leave his mark with his own Godzilla design, but also had Godzilla changing over the course of the film itself rather than being an entirely offscreen affair. I imagine that the director, writers, and designers will definitely try to remain consistent with the Evolved design for such narrative purposes, but they'll probably come up with in-universe/narrative reasons for the design to change up a bit and be tweaked to suit the new director's ideas; that, and to also provide more opportunities to make new merchandise.
The colour depends really on weather he decides to rest in the arctic again and replenish the energy he used in GXK. Otherwise, he will resort to his original blue energy
I honestly think all the new spikes and dorsals will stay, for the dorsals, i think the scales covering them up, but not entirely, like just a tiny edge of still fleshy dorsals, sort of resembling the white edge of previous godzillas dorsals, and as for the pink, i think it will still be present, but as the franchise goes on it will slowly fade into blue again. Also you gotta remember that jared also said that evolved is a mid transformation look, so he could change even further.
I saw a little bit of blue on Godzilla's beam when he beamed into the sky at the end of the movie, so I'm pretty sure on the next movie it will just be like the evolved version but thicker and blue daba dee daba die
I’m all for him getting slightly bulkier, but we can’t just have him change back to blue so quickly. Legendary Godzilla is unique, and I think that pink coloration really shows that.
I would love for them to bring back some of the old elements of G14 with the dorsal fins mainly as they do have some resemblance between G24 and G14 dorsal fins
Well throughout all the Japanese movies of Godzilla, he ended up looking different. And he also gets an upgrade of power all the time we saw that in the heisei series.
The kaioken thing makes so much sense now....Godzilla'd energy capacity is increased by 20 times. Which I thought was odd, but when I look back at goku the highest he pushed it was to "kaioken times 20!!!!!"
I reckon in the next film he’ll have a purple colouration and atomic breath as a blend of both and then gradually as the films go on he’ll evolve or rather devolve back to his original style of blue
With bigger threats on the horizon, Godzilla will evolve into a much heavier, much more powerful monster to take on the greatest threats this side of King Ghidorah.
I personally think he would look how he did in gxk but his dorsal plates would have grown back around the fleshy pink dorsals and he would probably go back to blue
I’d think once he start to evolve again he would glow more and look like his supercharged form a little bit keeping the dorals tho and the other spine parts
I'm hoping they'll go for something akin to what Millennium Godzilla went through. Where, at first, Millennium Godzilla in Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs Megaguirus had pink spikes, orange atomic breath, and looked meaner and spikier than his previous incarnations. Then, in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Tokyo S.O.S., they kept that meaner and spikier design, but changed the colors around a bit, and did a few other tweaks too
I think the novel said something about Godzilla’s evolution being incomplete. If he continues he may have more of a body builder look, either going further into the pink or turning to the classic white we saw in the concept art.
Like a spider just got out of molting. He will slowly grow darker in color and being more rougher in texture when it comes to the dorsal fins and scales. Probably grow even more bigger
I mean on the concept art it said his skin was a greenish color from molting which means his skin was fresh. So he'll problaby have his black and grey color pallette and I think his dorsals uncharged may be pink and Veiney from being fresh aswell so maybe they'll change a little and look similar to the original colors. I really hope he becomes bulky again though.
I think they will bring back the bluish color but with the new design because when godzilla turned Pink in the final battle You could see some blue particles around him
The pink should stay as he absorbed the energy from tiamat's lair which had the highest stockpile of energy on earth. Would be dumb if he returned to the blue again
I doubt it’ll happen because it’s more likely the color and shape of his spikes are more likely to stay permanently unless his spikes explode or he evolves again and the pink energy could possible stay too because of his molecular density and it could be possible for Godzilla to get more bulky but it doesn’t mean he will, say “foot” if you like my theory
