@@GemGames3I love how sharp and Snape seem both really similar and really different. Like they’re both gloomy slytherin potion masters. But sharp was an auror whereas Snape was a death eater.
@@victoriaanne6332Sharp seems like a mish mash of Snape, Lupin, and Moody. The Snape part is obvious for the reasons you listed. The Lupin part because of his gruffness and scar, and the Moody part because of his Auror background and limp.
@@fehyndana7725 yeah, but also, this game isn’t a canon game so it isn’t the same Black as the books. The game put its own spin on it. He’s very different in the books. He’s not “nice” and he hates muggle borns.
Nahhh I used Crucio the first time I played thru on hard mode against the goblins on the way to fight Ranrok and Fig was like “hmm, let’s not do that right now, yeah?” Lmaooo and my severely underleveled and undergeared ass said “I Have No CHOICE”
There are also several schoolmates which react to your pyjamas, and even shop owners in Hodsmeade, some are hilarious: Parry Pippin: "Eh, dressed to impress, I see?.." Thomas Brown: "Aaah... Dressed to impress I see." Augustus Hill: "Dashing pyjamas. You didn't buy those here, did you?" Patrick Redding (Honeydukes): "Testing the limits of society, are we? One would think clothes hadn't been invented." Zonko: "Ha-ha! Now there's a sight!" Timothy Teasdale (The Magic Neep): "I'd wear my nightgown too if I could get away with it." Ferdinand Octavius Pratt (drunk customer in Three Broomsticks): "Pyjamas in public - how delightfully gauche!"
Some how, the moment I met professor Garlick I knew that she’d be the most thirsted after character in the game. This video only makes her look even better
bit of a spoiler, but I loved that quest where we had to take polyjuice to become headmaster Black, I had so much fun messing with the students and teachers, now I see why Snape seemed to make so much joy in it
They didn't forget they just didn't put one it. You have to include that thing in a game really early or it just gets hamfisted in there. Besides, often they're so easy to game they break immersion. Like my kleptomaniac hero of the wasteland in fallout.
Professor Black is very hot 🥵 he’s got that haughty, dominant daddy vibe. Always dressed smartly and looking sophisticated. Imagine having a silver fox daddy type for a headmaster. I’d be actively looking for ways to get detention just to sit in the headmaster’s office every day. 😉
This isn't necessarily pyjamas. While I'm sure people slept in them, they're underwear. It's called either a "Union Suit" or "Combination Underwear". Probably most well known for being worn by cowboys in the old west.
The last three Elder Scrolls games do this too. It's totally un-nessesary but adds just that much more depth to gameplay. I emember going idle in one of the elder scrolls games, and having one of the beast race NPCs SIGH and then say "It just... STANDS there..."
Eveyone did not like that/questioned it or were kinda ok with it. Sharp, however, DID NOT like that.😒 But Garlick's comment though...what does she mean by that?😅
Good thing Hogwarts Legacy is set in the early 1880's, then. Long before Sev or his parents were even a thought. I suspect there were members of the Prince family at Hogwarts back then, tho. "Prince" was Eileen Snape's maiden name, btw. Pity she got mixed up with that pathetic excuse for a man; neither she nor Sev deserved to be treated the way they were by Tobias.
The attention to detail in this game is phenomenal. I haven’t even finished it yet and I had it three days early lol I’ve been running four saves (each house) simultaneously lmao it’s taking me fucking ages. I’m trying to keep them in similar point to the story too, currently my main is dealing level 32 and the others are level 30 lol I play a little of each house every day
Fun fact: You can actually change the appearance of items so you can look like you have the weakest items in the game or weaker ones when in all actuality you have the strongest ones.
Wait what. I'm doing a playthrough in my PJs next 😄 Also professor Garlick sounds like she's going to be pulled in front of the school board for inappropriate comments 😆
When you work at a massive boarding school where you teach a bunch of delinquents how to not get themselves killed by apocalyptic magic, youd probably grow numb to what theyll walk in wearing
It was actually. Mainly because it had colonized most of the world. Heck, black people have been in Britain since the Roman era. And the Wizarding World technically globalized long before the muggle world thanks to magic making travel easier.
Yes, people were coming from all over the British empire. Though this is the wizarding world and it's clear from the books that the magical community stick to their own regardless of race, plus, they can get anywhere in a matter of seconds so it's wouldn't make sense to compare it to 1800s UK in a historic sense. It's more likely that people with magical blood formed communities regardless of race because it made more sense to them.
Hate to burst your bubble but, the UK was not diverse in the late 1800s. Census data from the British library shows that the racial population of the UK and Ireland was 98 percent native, AKA white. So, yeah this was just another developer decision to falsefy history out if fear of being called "racist" if they dare portray the time period correctly
