I really appreciate your efforts but i think your assessment of the political situation is biased: 1. No Free Press: I think this completely wrong as there are 100s of youtube channels and news networks constantly criticising the current government, in fact a certain german individual has become multimillionaire by using Modi name. Current loss of lok sabha seats is an example that the criticism is being heard and acted upon. 2. Demonetization was a disaster: A surgery is a disaster for body but its necessary, also improved economic indicators, such as sustained GDP growth, increased FDI, and a tourism boost, further demonstrate invalidity of you claims about foreign investors and international organisations losing trust in our currency. It also gave a huge push for migration to UPI and new bank account creation which is an outstanding achievement for our country. 3. The stronger opposition: To be honest the opoosition we have was in power for majority of the time since the countries freedom and you must remember people saying 'India ka kuch nahi ho sakta', the real achievement of current government is that people are expecting things from them, I dont hear that statement anymore. All in all, ruling government should be criticised but I think you are biased towards the other party. The opposition is worse for Indian economy all they want is to make this country a communist shithole by hooking up regular people on freebies. They will do anything to get in power, Congress signing MOU with China in 2008 is an example of their conduct. I dont think you give credit to the current government where its due.
