As a lifelong Dawg fan, we're not competing for a B1G champ next year. No chance. I think 8 wins would be a solid first season

I would be elated with 8 but still think it's a tall task. We'll see right? Part of the fun is not knowing just like that 14-1 season last year.

@@dwightvoeks9970 Facts. Even with as good of a team we had returning, it's just logical with a schedule as tough as ours to assume we'll drop a game or two simply because it's football and no pac12 team had ever gone into bowl season 13-0. Which is why deboer stabbing us all and especially those kids in the back is a really, really, really hard pill to swallow. How many times in our lives will we see the dawgs play 60 minutes, 1 game, undefeated, to claim their spot as national champions? Hopefully a few more but the closest we've came in my lifetime to that was 32 yrs ago and I was 7. You interview for a currently vacant job a few days before the sun bowl or some shite. I've never in my life heard of a coach interviewing for another job just a few days before playing in the freaking natty. Saban didn't even "retire" until after the game so why TF couldn't you interview then? I'm not pissed off that dude left, I'm pissed off in the way he left and the bullshite he fed to the media every week and then betraying your team. Against Texas, dem boys were borderline cocky and wanted everyone to know we were going to Houston. Before Michigan, pregame Michigan, game time Michigan, our body language said they didn't even wanna be there. It was frustrating talking to my buddies the next day BC so much seemed off during that game. And by so much, I mean literally everything. But I couldn't put my finger on exactly what it was. I usually have a pretty good pulse on these things but I was at a loss. The only thing I knew for sure is that Michigan had a damn good D but that D is not one we weren't capable of putting up 30 against. Consistently. Jimmy Lake coming off a loss to Montana put up 10 at the big house 2 yrs ago and our offense this year had improved eons more than Michigan's respective defense. Then the truth slowly started trickling out and within a couple hours of Saban "retiring", it all started to make sense to me. And no matter lies F3 and the midget alcoholic at doogmon tried to spew, anyone with an analytical mind who reads the tea leaves and is brutally honest can put 2&2 together. The whole team couldn't have known is a ludicrous strawman. CDB isn't going to interview without telling the coaches he wants to bring. I.e. Morgan, Huff, Shepp, Grubb, Juice. You have to be an idiot not to think shepp or CM or whoever couldn't keep their mouth shut and while I doubt Q Moore or Memmelar knew, no doubt in my mind Penix did, rome did, jmac did, polk did, Faatanu did, RR did, Trice did, etc. So while I was confounded for a day or so about what the hell I watched on jan 8th, by that Thursday, the picture was crystal clear. And while part of me asked why Penix didn't pull out the Jon Moxon "60 minutes for the next 60 years of our lives" locker room speech, lol that was a stage of grief, I guess. Brainstorming for answers that will never be revealed. All I know is that I was robbed, we were robbed, the players, families, EQ mgrs, bart fulmer, rob scheideger, everyone invested in that team was robbed...not necessarily of a natty...but of never being able to know 'what if' because the final chapter was never allowed to be written. And that's what pains me the most...

You know what I have been on a lot of media sites in my off time. So, some or none of you might have seen me before. But before Deboer ever got here, and while coach Peterson was coaching still. I was one of those highly chastised folks saying that we were as talented as anyone, but Peterson's coaching style was limited in the so receiver department and by not having a running QB. Which killed us in games versus Penn State and Ohio state. Which our losing was as simple as that. Plus, the injuries we had going into the Penn State game that none of the media thought to bring up about how half of our defense was still injured or coming off of injured reserve vs Penn State. All they talked about during that game was how Saquon Barkley was playing on a bad leg. Meanwhile Mr. Barkley played the whole game seemingly in no pain and ran great. They talked about the injured tight end who had a career game also. Meanwhile UW's whole team was on injured reserve. Never as heard about it barely the whole game. Against Ohio State we just did not have the receivers in that game. But there was not much we were missing in these games. People before Deboer came on were already picking us to finish behind Oregon and USC, and when Deboer got here they were picking us to finish behind USC and Oregon and as even now they are picking us to finish behind Oregon and USC. Anyway, I picked the UW the past two years, which broke my streak of picking the PAC 12 champion of 5 years in a row. Not bragging. Just stating a case. The only thing that saves the UW this year is the fact that everyone else is rebuilding to at their programs. Ohio State lost a crap load of players. Michigan lost a crap load of players. Oregon lost a crap load of players. USC people still live in their fantasy land. There is hope for Jedd Fisch. As good as Deboer's staff was. I may end up thinking that Fisch is the better coach in the end. He did much more with much less in Arizona there. Deboer did not do a good job on picking us up a decent tail back. All we had for the Michigan game was an injured DJ. You can tell that Dillon could barely move versus Michigan. I would have loved to see that offensive line with a quality running back behind it, in that game and the season. We probably as would have blown out Oregon in both games if we had Jonah Coleman.

10.99 100m is not crazy, fellas. he ran a 10.85 in his senior year. 10.4-10.6 is crazy fast for high school. Gatlin Bair, the mission kid "going to" Oregon is a 10.15 100m kid that could consider a career in track.
