Dating back to the Iron Age, the Wimpole estate in Cambridgeshire has had an eventful 2,000-year history. Today, the greatest challenge facing the estate is climate change, which is affecting almost every aspect of land management. Watch this video to find out how National Trust teams looking after Wimpole are working hard to reduce flooding, capture carbon, use renewable energy and create homes for wildlife. Planting trees, creating nature corridors by linking up areas of woodland and making meadows are just some of the things we’re doing to tackle climate change.
