HA, I was just talking to my brother about this. In my experience when a pastor uses the phrase "in the Greek" 80% of the time what comes next will be either unhelpful, unnecessary, or untrue. Unfortunately it seems that many commentaries are filled with these types of "hidden gems" that breakdown the original words in ways they were never meant to be broken. It becomes the "numerology" approach to language. My example to my brother was that it would be like someone in the future saying when he used the word "dogmatic" he is calling to mind robotic dogs that would bite down and never let go.

Just found you. I received my "Bible Study" magazine. I have 3 or 4 sets of books for word translations. I found out that one word does not mean the same across the board/verse.

"Nobody except a few Latin nerds..." or anybody who knows Spanish and other Romance languages. Great video, nevertheless.
