How would you measure someone’s life?
I think life is not measured by time.
Rather it is measured by small, significant moments that remind us just how beautiful this journey is.
I think life is measured by how much we have loved.
Someone once said, “Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.”
Life has a peculiar way to show us what really matters. We don’t just stumble upon these things and pick them up along the way, more often than not we are guided….like a pirate with a map on a treasure hunt, going after that one prize that will make us stop pursuing.
I’m just grateful that this life has brought us together. The moment I met you, I knew my time of searching had come to an end.
From this moment, I will spend the rest of my life loving you…though life is short, but with you, I have all the time in the world.
