Hi Abi and Nath, You are doing a great job testing especially drones and planes, and I very much appreciate your work. Maybe you should think about a rating system for the flying machines that you test. Obviously that has to be done in price categories eg up to 50 USD 50 to 100 USD etc. This would make life much easier for newbies, but also for experienced pilots to make a choice in this market which offers a bewildering choice of flying machines. When somebody watches your videos I’m sure they often ask themselves “OK, good machine - but is it the best choice for me?” The other option is to watch the thousands of youtube videos on this subject and perhaps even then to make the wrong choice..

Im the same height as you Nate. Feels good to be one of the first to know when it rains. Seems like a decent beginner to intermediate drone. Flight time was not bad overall. Thanks Saylors!
I enjoyed Lane's aerobatics! 09:26 I'm disappointed that JJRC gives customers a TOO SMALL PHONE HOLDER! Maybe 2 years ago it could be tolerated; NOT IN 2019! I like the standard micro USB charging port! More drones should use this!
Not a bad drone. Short flight time though. Camara quality is about what I expected for that price point. Extra battery isn't too expensive, like $18. If I buy another drone, I'm going to get the one Nate always carries with him. The camera quality was very good. Sure it's quite a bit more expensive but, that's what I would be looking for a decent camera. Thanks again Nate and Abby for another awesome video. 👍🙏😃
Camera is slightly better than average, overall design is good and it flies OK. The various hiccups with the app and the short battery life make it pretty average and I'd only give it 5/10 based on what I saw in this test. _I'd add a "must do better" annotation on the test sheet too because it could have been so much better_
I would give it a 6 1/2, its ok, Wifi my biggest issue and not long flight time, could find a price, But I am sure that there would better value for money with another quad
After the JJRC X9 and the Aircus I won't give any none-gimbal drone a ten. That being said, I own the non pro version of this one and that already is great. So, for this pro-version I'll give a seven to maybe eight, especially cause, if you look around a bit, you can get it for significantly less than 150 bucks.
Looking for an opinion from you guys on a cheaper than my DJI Mavic Air yet has all the same features. So - this one won't be good enough b/c of no gimbal. The Hubsan Zino with 2 batts on Gearbest is $315 - *that's* the deal I want - but of course even cheaper would be be great. Is this thing coming up in 2 months something like what I'd want to wait for???? So -- I'd only go 5 on this one. My Visuo Shark has so much better run time (but brushed motors, I know).
Hmm, that is a tough one Circuit. The closest you are going to get is the Zino (as you mentioned) or the DJI Spark, of course you are losing some quality. Personally, I fly my Zino way more than I fly my Mavic for fun. I love my Zino. It's not as good as DJI, but its price is so much lower I can easily justify that. I think the Zino is currently leading the ranks in budget friendly/ high end camera drone platforms. The FIMI is a solid choice too!
I still love my bugs 3 drone it flys so stable and great.I just wish I could use my hobby grade charger to charge the battery cuz usb one takes forever
I dont like drones that use 'apps' , especially these days when the app requires a 5G phone. Does it have telemetry like a Bugs 2 ? like battery strength , signal strength , height and distance on the screen on the transmitter ? , that would be a plus . It looks pretty much like a Bugs drone (which I do like) I just wish drone manufacturers would get away from these apps and use a 5.8Ghz camera system (I installed my own camera and 5.8 Ghz transmitter in my bugs 2 and upgraded the motors to all alloy as used in the Bugs 3 and turned it into a pretty decent FPV drone with a 1 kilometer range) ..............I'd give it a 6 , and probably a 10 if it has the range of a bugs 2 and an FPV system that didnt require an app
Looks like a decent quad except for the short flight time. Does anyone make a quad at this price point and capabilities that has 5.4 ghz FPV instead of wi-fi? I really like FPV but not wi-fi FPV, I have trouble looking at my phone and trying to fly that way. Great video Saylors and thanks for posting. Tim
@@Shortsircut1 Oh, I think you mean 5.8 ghz... the Xiaomi Fimi A3 might be what you're looking for. Very cool little drone. I miss 5.8 ghz support too. There used to be a lot more drones that had it baked in.
@@mikecantelon3198 Yes 5.8 ghz, I knew 5.4 did not sound quite right! LOL I have a Hubsan H501s that works really well, it just annoys me the camera is permanently fixed. I may have to hack and slash it to change it instead of buying another.
Hey guys, I give the drone about an 8, given it's price I think it's a reasonably good buy. Not one I would buy though, for me it's gotta have a gimbal & not be wi-fi FPV, but you're not going to get something like that at this price. I'm prepared to pay the extra for what want, but I realise not everyone can so this drone is a good option. 90 degrees huh? Come to Australia & see how hot it gets, plus you don't have to worry about snow hampering your days in the winter, unless you want to drive to the snowfields.

If you go by what you have always said: Less WORKING features, than more NON-WORKING features.. this drone isn't great. Sure, it has the bells and whistles of GPS, Brushless, Adjustable Camera - but, if you take into consideration, even with that, you only had a 7 Minute flight time? That's horrible! - Then the fact that BOTH video sources failed - Horrible. So, sure, it has features, but they don't work. I would much rather buy a non-gps drone that worked, and had a better flight time, for less money.
Hey, you make a very good point my friend! I suppose I could have dropped my score a point or so. I think I was being a bit more generous with the tilting camera (while flying) which very few drones have and those nice Brushless motors definitely helped its score in our books. I agree with your points though. In this case, less would be more. At least a longer flight time would be more 😉👍⚓😃
Sorry... I don't agree... Bad App, Bad Flight time, Bad Jello in video, Bad quality for 1080p, Too heavy at 390g. ... I would rate it a 2 out of 5... Total pass. Thanks for the video.

Hi what ever you are using to charge batteries over USB is faulty the flight time on this is around 12 minutes you also had an issue with the wing god again your charging device is faulty
He is getting so good!! Right now he is just flying for fun, and almost lives at the airfield so we are lucky enough to get to watch him and share some flights with everyone 👍🛩😃⚓
It’s hard to get past the jello effect on the video, if the main purpose of the drone is to take video then it is a fail. As a rescue spotting aircraft it is usable. Best as a affordable trainer quad for a new pilot, 7/10. Now that 10 year old pilot, Wow! In Australia, under the new regulations, that “YoungAce” would have to be supervised to fly. How ridiculous!
