In my opinion if Yi, Nelson, and Cochrane met in a Tavern, they would be talking on days end about all their exploits and shook hands in the end out of respect with one another. Yi also proved that the Korean Navy was nothing without him and that he also didn't lose a single ship on his command to enemy action.

I'll also note that he has perished while fighting off fleeing Japanese army. He was shot but he told his lieutnants to hide him to prevent morale going down. All his soldiers knew about his death after the battle

The greatest Admiral in not just Korean history, but Asian history.. the Imjin war was the Asian world war, no war was bigger except for when the Japanese would invade Korea and China again in ww2. What makes Yi different is not only how invincible he was, but his character is superhero level… I’m Chinese and I adore him. He not only saved Korea, he saved all of Asia.

Yi Sun Shin was a real general who existed. He saved Korea from the barbaric Japanse and also invented the first recorded iron-clad warship in history. Please don't talk about historical figures when you have no concept about history, especially Korean history. Don't bring your gaming to history.
