God came through with a new source to buy them from since my current farmer is out lately. And I was able to make tallow (rendered beef fat from butcher) candles & hand cream today for fun and saves money not buying them! ❤

Today is a new day. My special needs adult child was violent and had many outbursts yesterday😢. It was hard. I cried to God. Please pray the judge will grant us conservatorship on aug 13 so we can cover her still with insurance and have legal rights to help her seek medical care. She is epyleptic and has chronic kidney infections, throat and feet birth defects among other things…. We know God will help us through this new phase❤ God is good all the time
Aww Cathy you're such a strong and patient mama. She is so blessed to have you. Lord we pray on behalf of Cathy and her family to grant her conservatorship over her daughter on August 13. We trust You will place the right people to make the best decision and give them divine revelation and discernment for this case. We also pray for her daughter's health that it can be manageable and healed in Jesus name. Grant the family peace and comfort in this season of life. Draw them near to You Lord. Amen!

I do all my own grooming, eyebrows, haircuts, pedicures etc. and I’ve always cut my little girls’ hair, recently I even started doing my husbands haircuts as well. We also thrift 80% of our clothes and furniture :) we also have so many stories of people giving us furniture when we first got married 13 years ago. 🌺

My kids are adults they moved out a long time ago. And my daughter lives in Arizona I haven't seen her in person for 5 years. I talk to her through Marco Polo video. I love God so much, I was raised in church had a grandma who taught me to love God. He is good, even though it has been hard. But God is faithful 🙌🏼

I am beyond amazed with this video, because I have been asking the Lord to teach me to be responsible with the finances and also to be content with the things I have right now. I have a problem if it’s not expensive, then it’s not good thinking. And I learned from you that it does not have to be expensive to make your home beautiful, we have to be a good steward and content. I absolutely love your way of making your home look beautiful and organized. Funny thing I also have a lot of baskets in my house 😁. 🌸

My thrifty tips are: Save a foamy hand wash pump and put a teas dawn then water and no more hand soap needed ever again🎉 Save lemon peels and freeze with vinegar to grind in disposal to not buy chemicals to clean garbage disposal Also we stopped all eating out, take out, movie theater, and vacations. No fast fashion or trendy purses/shoes And watch out for that beauty stuff. Less is more❤

@@mrsdaisymama i know, I have a son that has down syndrome and I isn't walking yet but I was praying for a proper pediatric walker for him and my physio had only the regular toddler fisher price ones and I got really disheartened as I wanted a medical one. So I was looking around thinking we'll I guess I have to buy one but it was expensive. Well long story short after a year a kind man gave me one for free ❤️

I went a few years without thrifting but then I remembered why I loved it so much ♥️ yes, patience is truly a part of the process! The fruit of the spirit is applicable to literally anything and everything in life, we just have to look a little deeper to see it 🥹♥️
🌸hi! I have that same design rug but in a runner shape and I have it down the center of our bedroom leading from the bedroom door to the bathroom door. We have 6 children, 3 large dogs, and live on a farm and so hard wearing and washable rugs are a must. I found some on Amazon that I can wash in the washing machine and then hang up to dry and they do not crinkle. They were not as much of a steal as your rug but the machine washing capability makes it worth it. I’ll share the links below.

Being able to wash these in a machine is such a benefit for our lifestyle. I’ve had them 1.5 years and wash them monthly and they still look the same as the day I bought them.
We also practice delayed gratification. We each have a monthly allowance. And we only spend towards the end of the month so if we really want it we will save and wait. That includes charities❤

Be careful with thrifting. Just because its lovely and cheap doesnt mean we NEED it. Many of my friends over buy things at garage sales too then need to pay for storage units in their 50s and beyond. It is just stuff snd we dont take it with us. Jesus is our treasure❤. It is ok to buy some thrifted things but we dont want to live in a cluttered full space either. We used decor to store my childs toys. Ottomans or other usable cuboards nearby. This was we all can share with boundaries
Yes, shop to a list. And love it or leave it. You can always pay a little extra at the register if you want to add charity support. But do discern donations of cash carefully.
I live in a studio apartment with my husband and our 3 year old son and we would love our own house or atleast a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment because we are outgrowing our studio but for now it’s not possible so we try to be content and grateful for our studio 🤍
