Many people don't understand how valuable this information is, that you are sharing with us in this video.Thank you for the great content as always JN !
I came over to PLO from NLHE because of your channel. Thanks for all the free info! I cannot believe how soft these games are compared to NLHE. You can really easily push people around easily at the low stakes, but I wouldn't be doing it without your help!
Ok. Soooo...playing in a PLO game and saw that one guy usually bet and defended a lot mostly when he had just a high pair on the board. I decided to color code him according to this video and note it. A few hands later I rivered a straight and the board was A3345 with the 5 giving the flush. He raised it big on the river. I figured he probably just had an A for two pair and not a full house or even a flush based on how he played his top pair for the few hands I had played him. I called and TA-DA! He had only an A for two pair and I scooped the pot! Wow! It does work. lol
Your videos about PLO saved me from the sad fact that no one plays limit holdem anymore.. As one cannot be a one trick pony, your vids has helped me to add PLO to my NLHE 6-max. (cant touch full ring anymore.) one Q tho, Do you play (and are maybe planning some videos on) PLO/8? (Or is that dead too?.. been away a long while, lots of #### seems to have changed.) Other than that, thanks for the great content and may the deck catch fire in your dealers hands. And of course, best of wishes to you and your's.
Thank you sir! I ran into you at 100PLO the other night (think it was Friday or Saturday), you were up to 1000bbs, completely crushing from the looks of it. You also made a good fold on the river to my turned straight flush hahaha. Love the free content. Hope to see you in the Mastermind soon.
regarding running it twice- if you are rolled for your games an handle losing better than your opponents you should run it once. the logical exception would be if you're deep in a 100bb capped game where bad opponents are also deep stacked to keep a deep stack not bc of money consiiderations. but if you're deep with some 100 bb stack run it once. let him tilt if he loses. let him have to play deep if he wins.
Fernando, it would help a lot if you could give us an advice on creating tags to identify different types of opponents. How many tags and what to look for?
JN you mention how important it is to Take Notes on Players and Exploit them. How do you do this or do you change strategy at Anonymous table like on Runitonce?
Hello Jnandez, im starting to play PLO I already take a lot of your tips to play PLO, how many buy ins would you consider are enough to work with on PLO25? Looking forward to get in Mastermind course. Best Regards From Mexico!
LG Fernando
Excellent content . Please Fernando can you play head up .25. 50 zoom and make a quick vidéos about this format i like but it s still hard To win against récréatif player as you name it .
Thank you. We have a whole course on Heads-Up PLO in the Mastermind. I'm leaving tomorrow for holidays, so there won't be any videos on youtube for a while :)
So I played plo last night for the first time, I came out with 1000. I played super tight, but I think I did good considering I have never played. I have seen most of your videos and thought every hand threw before I acted. I plan on playing again. Thanks for the great videos and great advice
Its easy to crush when you are 5bis above EV over 2500 hands. But what about the people who have never run above All in EV over any meaningful sample? How do they win? I always build a solid stack playing good and aggressive poker but then I lose the 4 way 800bb pot with 50% equity.
Not crushing low stakes PLO right now, that's for sure. Had so many bad beats it is ridiculous. Lost over $500 playing PLO in the last month. But damn if it isn't a lot funner than NLH.
Thanks. Totally, 2k is not a sample. But it already showed interesting things about the redline and I already learned a lot about the kind of opponents we run into at these stakes. More to come
In your MM shortstack bootcamp you emphasize how valuable it is to play short, as even the Regs will make big mistakes vs you, etc. Now you say, play deep when ever you can. I find that confusing.
Basically: Want to make a course. Record your self 100 times until you get a decent graph to release. Show us a bad graph instead, and why it was a bad beat.
you won over .50 a hand. Good content but you were clearly on a heater. Winning 16 buy ins in 2,500 hands is a heater. I don't think this win rate is sustainable.
