I have an iPhone 12 Pro. Wasn’t at all impressed with video quality. Wound up buying a Canon M50 and it is light years ahead of the iPhone regarding video quality.
My Iphone 12 works great for the beginner level youtube videos I take, they look professional enough that I don’t have to invest in a whole new device when my channel doesn’t obviously require it yet, I know I’m two years late to your comment and I really don’t want to be insulting but your problem sounds like a skill issue my man, of fkn course an actual camera is going to be better than a phone, but if a phone is all you have, no need to try discourage the ones who doesn’t want to immediately invest in a whole new device, their phones will be enough, My channel is aga fm global(not english) btw not this one
Is a yes from me,I’m actually using iPhone 12 for all my videos and it works perfect. Thank you for the Tips, but I need a microphone to attach to my iPhone thank you so much
I have been filming on my android for a while now My first video s*cked a$$ but my latest is better like alot better You need to edit good, use lighting and have a good mic A lavalier mic is like 15 dollars If you can't afford it you can use another phone to record audio and then mix it with your editing software You can even mix it with your mobile phone video editor like kinemaster
I use my iPhone to record.. I now have the 13 Pro, and using cinematic mode for my talking head videos has been so great! I wish cinematic was actually 4K, but iPhone 14 Pro for that I guess.. please do a video using cinematic mode to see if anyone notices the difference

I’m over 7k subs into it and still shoot exclusively with my iPhone. I’m not sure at this stage what advantages a camera would give me. I’m sure there are some but at present it’s not worth the expense.
@@tigrana9223 I do. For my most recent videos I just don't do mid-roll, or anything else that would interrupt the video. I think subscribers deserve that. Then after the video has been out for a month I then turn more of the monetising features on. To be honest, at my subs numbers and view counts, the money is so miserably low anyway, it doesn't really make a difference to me.
Great video as always. I just noticed that you are using your watch (is that apple watch?) to know if you are in the frame while you are using the back camera. How did you do that? Thanks.
It is 5:00am where I am, so I am lying on my bed watching on my laptop my iphone 12 pro is in the living room, all of the videos of my channel I had filmed with my iphone enjoying the process so far, I do plan to at least upgraded my laptop because for some reason my laptop don't recognize my iphone when importing contents.
iPhone 13 Pro here. Interior real estate videos get very grainy in darker rooms using both wide & ultra wide lenses. I shot this large hotel room first & it looked decent on the phone but very grainy in FCPx. Used Filmic Pro, 4K, 60fps & 120 shutter. DJI OM4. I brought some lights in & I reshot it & it came out better but still not great. Still grainy. The room wasn't really that dark. Disappointed so far.
Wanted to save and get the sony zv e10 but my present phone has been misbehaving so I am thinking of getting the iPhone 11 pro max first before I continue the journey to a professional camera.
Your video is very helpful. I am a RU-vid beginner. I make videos for cooking and gardening. I am looking for a wireless microphone. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
-- -- I personally have made mistakes too many times in the purchases in this sector. Clearly afterwards I didn't always get the results I wanted. I always try to improve.
How do we blur the background with the 12 Pro max? I also have problems with the HDR in editing in my iMovie mobile version. Even though I clicked off HDR to film, sometimes when I edit it turns clips into dark HDR and ruins my entire footage. It’s frustrating.
I’m watching from my iPhone 12 😂 I have a question about lighting…I have a Neewer LED ring light and it has the white cover for lighting and the soft (orangish color) cover for lighting. Which one should I be using for better quality? I currently use the white cover!
Really depends on what kind of mood you are trying to set. White is more product review/video call while orange is more intimate (chill mode)in my opinion. Check out Kaleb aka dslr shooter he’s great at lighting options as well.
Would you recommend the Apple Watch strap or the NICEYRIG Video monitor setup for the iPhone pro max as a back facing camera? I AM watching your videos! lol If you had to choose one…which one would you choose?
Having no videography experience, it’s great to know that I can shoot quality vids on my iPhone 8. Really convenient to be able to do all shooting, editing, uploading on my phone and on the go!
I use my full frame camera for a lot of my videos but just out of curiosity if I were to shoot some videos with my iPhone what is the fastest we to transfer 4K video files to my pc to edit
Thank you for the tips. My channel is still faceless but I wonder if it would be better to record myself, at least at the beginning. I do have a GoPro but I'm learning how to use it. It's not helpful to have the best camera on the world when we don't know how to use it. That's why a cell phone is so appealing. Thanks!
I now shoot all my videos on my Huawei P30, excellent camera(s) plus excellent night vision, good stabilisation even without my gimble! Up for replacement in November - but have not found a better camera yet...
I use my iPhone 12 Pro Max and it works great. Good lighting quality makes all the difference. Can someone come lease tell me where I can get that mirror mount ?? Thank you in advance 👋🏾❤️🌻
Yeah on an iPhone 11 64gb and waiting to shop for Sony ze10 and macboook air 8gb ram and 256gb coz I will shooting outdoors a lot and get serious 2022…🤞
Ok, but why in a hell, on my Iphone 6s 4k 30fps looks worse than 1080 60fps? I think it all down to the actual lens they are using? Whats the deaL? bECAUSE iAM REALLY THING TO SHOOT ON 1080 60FPS
I’m watching from my IPhone 12 pro Max 😂 but filming from my Canon 5D Mark 4. I'm thinking about using my phone in the future. I have a question about PAL. Do I need that format when I come from Denmark and film in Danish?
Can you give me any specific ideas about filming a cruise vacation. My wife and I are going to be going through the Panama Canal. Making stops in Costa Rica etc. And I’d like to really film that on my iPhone. Can you give me any ideas how to successfully do a video regarding Mr. and Mrs. Fleming go to Cartagena? And what equipment I would need besides the cell phone iPhone 13
unfortunately I am not watching this on a phone because I don't have a phone. But I wish I did because then I could, and most likely would, start a podcast. Thank you.
Encouraging video! I had a question, though... are there any iphones that the camera is just not good enough to use? I still use an iphone SE with the headphone jack. 😅 Thanks!
Great videos as always. Thank you. One audio tip is to talk past the mic and not directly at the mic. Plosives are a problem even for pop filters if you push air through them and at the mic. Some are more sensitive than others. Think of the air going into a tube. You don't want that to happen for great audio from talent. Another tip for inexperienced talent is to coach them a little prior to shooting. When using lavs many people will cough or cover their mouths and the air and cough will blast the microphone with volume. This is excruciating for listeners that are using headphones. The last thing that kills your video is a dry or "gucky" mouth or tongue noise. But that's a whole video in itself. Just make sure talent has water and maybe back off the mic a little. Post production can take down the highs is this slips by location mixer. Cheers to you guys. I'm learning a lot with Think. Appreciate you guys.
My iPhone keeps overheating while recording. I googled solutions and thinking of purchasing one of those cooling fans but can’t imagine that accessory on the phone while on a tripod.
Please is it Good idea to use mac for video recording because I don't have iPhone yet. And please if you can make video about it I will really appreciate it!
