I think this is too deep. To dress well one just needs a good haircut, maintain their hygiene, have a clean diet/workout, and wear basic clean clothes that fit well (chinos, OCDB, jeans). People that get into subcultures I would argue most people would look at them strange and don’t think they dress well.

Yeah I personally would disagree. If you want to dress with a “norm core” or regular guy style then that’s fine, just like how choosing to be okay at anything else is fine. However I want to encourage people to dress in a pursuit of an ideal. I think it adds to value of your personal style when you choose to do so. I’m not arguing with the fact that some guys might feel that their true self is brought out by a white pair of sneakers, jeans and an ocbd. However I personally doubt that that is the style that would make most men feel the best about themselves and help them In their pursuit towards their style being a part of a virtuous life. Alternatively, you may reject my premise, because you feel that style cannot be a method through which we pursue virtue. However, I’m not sure how you would be able to make an argument for that. Especially since our style clearly says something about who we are, what we believe in, and what we are interested in

@@calebgasca thanks for the reply! I have like 2 personal styles which are workwear (Iron Heart, Real Mccoy, RGT, Viberg, Whites) and Menswear (Drake's, The Armoury, Alden), and although this stuff does make me feel cool, it is a lot of work to research and spend time learning about the materials, how you want things to fit, cost of buying, etc, that I feel most people would just look great in a the "norm core". Anyways great channel!

I would say that generally, I agree with your statement in this comment. Within my video, I was more so trying to advocate for what I deem is a better thought process and way of thinking about your styledressing then the average person has. The main audience that I am striving to reach, would be people who are interested in dressing better, but maybe need more help or information. I do agree that if the average person was switched from a graphic T-shirt, basketball shorts and running sneakers into an outfit, more reminiscent of a J.Crew catalog that the overall stylistic health of the world would increase even if that is not the most unique or eccentric style.😂
