Thank you for the explanation of the the corrected DNG file being "darker" than the original raw file. I have noticed this primarily using DxO PureRAW2 since I often use Denoise with a TIF file after making some basic edits in Lightroom rather than on the raw file to start. The DNG files are typically about a half stop darker. I am glad to know this is due to reduced luminosity from the noise removal. Any further explanation of this you might give in future videos would be appreciated. Thanks for the excellent video as usual.

SUPER helpful especially since I use Luminar AI as my go-to edit tool. thanks you for the effort and sharing. i am an appreciative subscriber. my question: i have read/watched several folks suggest that sending the UNEDITED raw image directly to Topaz Denoise AI is the way to go. would you agree. thumbs up.

In the next one, could you review and make comments which one do you think is best. Now, of course, every situations is different, but if you think there is one that is best overall would be a nice video. Anyway, thank you foe this series.

Anthony -- a Lightroom / Topaz Lab process sequencing question: I intend to use Lightroom's HDR feature on three images which I have shot consecutively using exposure bracketing. Should I run each image through a Topaz Lab filter prior to merging them with the HDR feature or should I merge them first and then run a Topaz Lab filter on the result? Any advice would be appreciated.

How about how to use PhotoAI as a stand alone and plug-in? The fact that it does noise sharpen and giga all at once complicates when to use it.

Do You consider DNG files "RAW" files? In other words, I've been importing NEF files into LrC as DNGs, if I want to use DenoiseAI from LrC is it better to import them as the original NEFs and not convert to DNG?
