I camp alone, three times a year, at an altitude of about 7000 feet. I do five days. My body adjusts after about 30 hours. I always feel so good when I come back (for many other reasons, as well)
@Dragon-xe2fr for the first night, and into the next morning, it feels like someone is sitting on my chest. That's the best way I can explain it. But, no hypoxia.
When I was around 12 years old I couldn’t swim but one summer I went to the public swimming pools with a friend. All I did was swimming under water close to the edge. So many many times under water holding my breath. After that summer, when I played football/soccer again I was in the form of my life. I could just run and sprint all the time without feeling fatigued.
Almost died at high altitude. Went from Texas to CO 12500 feet on little bear or whatever mountain it was named, and nearly died no joke. Lesson of the story is: know your company and do your own research. Don’t just rely on friends to have your best interests in mind when you know them to be immature.
I think divers have it more instant, holding ur breath + water to the face = spleen spews out a ton of RBCs. it's called diver's reflex I think and you can prolly do it with a bucket of cold water
@@aryajpegasusId argue that the rbcs are one of the least useful parts of divers reflex, since youre not trying to transport more oxygen, just oxygen over time, slowed heartrate, vasoconstriction and redirected bloodflow are way more useful at spending less oxygen Though the people holding their breath for 15 minutes are huffing oxygen rich air completely saturating their blood beforehand anyway
What physiological changes happen when your exposed to an increased atmospheric pressure. For example when diving or during hbo therapy?

this is the key idea in Dr.Butheyko''s breathing method - to improve oxygenation of your cells / tissues / organs without training in high level altitude. It is the oposite of hyperventilation...👍💪
There are also other adaptations that shift the oxygen-haemoglobin dissociation curve, stemming from HIF expression (although I don't remember the details off the top of my head).
just one! yellow bone marrow :) red marrow contains stem cells that are used to produce blood cells and platelets and the stem cells in yellow marrow are used to produce fat, cartilage, and bone.
Quran talks about this scientific situation. Whoever Allah wills to guide, He opens their heart to Islam.1 But whoever He wills to leave astray, He makes their chest tight and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. This is how Allah dooms those who disbelieve. Surah Enam Ayah 125. How can prophet Muhammed(pbuh) know that people would go up the sky 1400 years ago ?
