I met a Zambian woman today. I am in GA US. I always meet Nigerians or Kenyans, never a Zambian. She was the sweetest lady ever. Now I’m learning about Zambia.
Zambians know how to live in peace with each other. I hope it always stays that way. What is Zambia like today? Are things getting better or worse. We lived there from 1975 to 1984, leaving when I was nine. Things were getting worse at that time, especially in terms of crime. I would like to return one day, especially to Ndola, where we lived for eight years. @@andrewmbao5928
I am Zambian born in Kabwe, but adopted by two loving Dutch parents and now life most of my life in the Netherlands. I've been to Zambia 5 times. Everytime I've been there, I still feel a strong connection towards the country, it's people and culture. Love to visit it again some time soon. And great to see Zambia shine and prosper. Much love from a Dutch Zambian!😄👋
If you’re in the city avoid places where it’s dark and avoid displaying your valuables when walking in public by the roadside. Avoid packing your car where there’s not enough security. A lot of drive by valuables snatching and car break ins abound. The city police aren’t enough resourced to investigate anything that happens to you and do nothing to help much . Personal experience. Got my backpack snatched containing passport, money, laptop, IDs and valuables but police were very unreliable. No investigation whatsoever and gave up after going up and down a lot investigator told me to give up because it’s gone. Mandahill police . Very disappointed
Great beautiful country indeed, just wish you didn't superimpose your music lyrics on top of the info you tried to give about Zambia. Nevertheless, great video and a wonderful country.
I love that the creator used actual music from the area. Maybe the most important export of Africa! 😅 MUSIC! Oh shoot, they changed it to a Canadian's music. Much better at the beginning. I turned the sound down. What a waste of audio time.
Our Beloved motherland is such a beauty full of Beautiful people and so much wealth in natural resources. I started my journey back to Zambia in 2014 and will soon be home on my little farm in kapiri.
Since my first visit to Zambia in 1999, I’ve been aching to live there (I’m from the US). I LOVE Zambia!! Luckily, except for the COVID years, I’ve been able to visit once or twice a year. Was most recently there in May 2023! My heart is full of love for Zambia.
Looks really nice I would never have imagined Zambia looked like this for years we've got the wrong image of African countries if not for the internet we couldn't see
Zambia was Northern Rhodesia before and close to our Portuguese Mozambique. British developed open minded influence you feel in Lusaka and architectural building and roads and trains lines. And the language also. I had some friends from Zambia that enjoyed diving and scuba in Bazaruto islands, Mozambique.
will always love Zambia and my country(Botswana) will always be indebted to president Kenneth Kaunda who was the first african head of state to recognise us as an indepedent country. even convinced the OAU when i was in the pension industry I was however sad it introduced a bill that banned our pensions(as foreigners) from taking part in its development when we were willing to build malls as we had one profitale mall already. Love the people though hopefully one day you will allow foreign investments especially fellow africans
Zambia was a British colony. It gained it's independence on 24 October 1964 from BRITAIN, and NOT from 'BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA' which never existed! Always fact check details. I am Zambian and was in my teens at school in Zambia when all that happened!
Point of correction. Zambia is surrounded by eight neighbouring countries. These are Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo. Not seven as this documentary is saying. That aside this is a good documentary though it did not cover the whole country. It is mostly Lusaka and Livingstone
I enjoyed watching video. There are a few misinformation e.g. number of neighbour's Zambia had, issues of airports and from whom Zambia gained independence. It was Great Britain and not British South Africa.
