Hard to say somebody’s a “profiteer” when they pour millions upon millions of their own personal wealth into the project. That’s what did the Senator in.
I worked for a Military Contractor and there were numerous paid projects that didn't produce a delivery. With other Contractors $100 millions was wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan. Happen then happens now!
Dauntless07 no, it’s the military industrial complex still alive and well, in 2019. As long as defense companies outsource to as many states as possible, politicians will co sign it.
moviefannnnnn best part was when juan trippes part right after. When he realized howard won those hearings and the bill would not pass making him a real rival for world transportation.
Really? At this point it's really hard to believe you know what you're talking about. If that's your opinion that's fine, but it's very hard to take in being a theatrical actor myself. When I watched Django I saw a ruthless plantation owner. When I watched Aviator I saw Hughes. If you look up the actual historic Senate hearing with Howard Hughes you'll see it's damn near identical to the movie. Accent, mannerisms, everything. I would love to know who you consider a character actor.
Are you an actor? I'm guessing not, because you don't seem to know what picking roles is really about. Django Unchained. Any actor would love to be in a successful movie. A real character actor like DiCaprio is seduced by the challenge of roles he's unfamiliar with. Yes he was very uncomfortable with the role. Nearly everyone in the movie admitted to feeling that way, and yet he pulled it off as if he loved enslaving blacks. In Aviator he adopted OCD traits from dedicating his mind to the role.
