This is sad and pathetic. Men AND women should stay away from things designed for little girls ages 3 to 7. Even at 7, the age limit, is getting too old for such things. People need to make the decision, the choice, to GROW UP.
This shit is from last year and people are still up in arms about this. Oi, Bronies, if you are all about Love and Tolerance, then shut the fuck up about this kind of shit. Opinions people. Besides, you have dug your own god damn graves.
A long winter coat has its advantages. It can conceal body armor and a full size battle rifle with relative ease. It also confreres some tactical advantage if the right color for the environment. A cloak? that's designed to pick up crap from the streets...
I use to believe that Howard Stern is being such a jackass towards the brony fandom because he doesn't understand nor does he want to, but given with how the fandom is getting worse than ever (trust me, I just got off of Derpibooru), it comes to my conclusion that Howard was right all along. I'll still watch the tv show, but I can't tolerate the fandom much longer.
+Nocturus How can you ask people to trust you? You're throwing people you don't even know under the bus. That's just sad! This Stern guy is wrong and you know it!
So do I have to know the man/woman's name in order to call him/her a pedophile if he/she is a pedophile? It's an extreme example, but it falls the same.
+Nocturus what matters is the truth! Most bronies aren't like that. There are a few weirdos out there that take things to the extremes, but you can't group all of them in there like that.
Silverwind 2020 "Most bronies aren't like that." Ever heard of a phrase, "A bad apple can spoil a bunch?" Doesn't matter if multiple bronies are like that. The moment an anonymous or a little girl sees a NSFW images of MLP on Googlesearch (Which by the way, even the safesearch won't safe you from seeing NSFW images), people will judge you guys for it. They don't care what you are really like. Take it from me who used to be a brony.
After thinking for a long while, I don't think Howard actually legitimately hates everyone who watches a show. I mean, that is just asinine. He just thought the fandom was weird. I'm sure if someone was a friend of his and someone told him he was a brony he would just laugh at him, or maybe do a bit of ribbing to poke fun of his friend, but overall, it wouldn't affect him. I do still hate how they got the most cringey people to interview, but if they got normal fans, it wouldn't be funny.
For any other bronies out there, this is legit. If your going to stick with this fandom, you better damn well know the herd. And why does the audio end @ 13:38? The rest is silent.
*actually "Simply tossing it out because they can." is an incomplete sentence. *shoving *people's Believe me, I know what autism is. That's exactly why I call bronies autistic. Pony avatars are a problem because of their sheer prevalence. Anyone who has them believes they're some special little snowflake for daring to like something outside their demographic. I can't go two steps without seeing someone with one.
I'm not a Brony, but I think all people are different and we should respect someone even if they like something not meant for their age/demographic. Just saying. :/
I just wanna let people know that there are a huge amount of bronies out there, like myself, who don't masturbate to the show and just enjoy it as a hobby and are otherwise completely normal people! Have a nice day :)
thousands of bronies have been beaten and abandoned by their family. The problem is the news tends to concentrate on their connection to the zoophile and furry subcultures without realizing the major role MLP:FiM plays in both of those. I know one guy had his parents walk in on him making love to a horse painted to look like Twilight Sparkle, and they threw him out on the street! Worst of all they didn't even let him keep his MLP toys. ;_;
I don't know which is worse, how my fandom is being portrayed or how my fandom or anyone else for that matter can't tell that this is obviously staged!
Chris Merryman It clearly was. How do I know? Stern is a shockjock. Stuff like this has been paying his bills since the 90s. He gets paid to be as disgusting and vulgar as possible. George Carlin once did a bit where he said that you never tell other people what you jerk off to. Just look up his bit on masturbation and you'll get where I'm going. Plus, this was a ratings grab so that he can still hold onto the idea that he's still relevant. Does anyone really remember him doing anything really important that got everyone's attention? No. Because most of his listeners realized how far his material can go before it gets tiring. Don't believe me on that? Just look at the current state of Adam Sandler's career.
It it really that hard to believe that 1) bronies exist and go to these conventions and 2) that Howard would send a guy to go and interview them and get crazy answers??? No need to fake that at all. In fact Stuttering John did it for the show the entire time he worked there. He would go up to the most famous celebrities and ask them very inappropriate questions. And his interviews are all tape recorded. The only people who have to fake their show are no talent hacks who have zero substance or anything to offer entertainment wise. Fake interviews? I don’t think so pal! Try again!!!!
All right. The target audience of My Little Pony is girls under the age of 10. My little pony was not made for grown males. Brony almost is a symbol for anti-social behavior. If you want an example, go look at the adults that attend the my little pony conventions as fans, not parents. It will make sense.
*psychological *bronies This isn't a case of a vocal minority. It's a case of an objectively bad fandom with a "good" minority that tries to cover it up and present it as "wholesome" and "loving". Believe me, I know your kind, and looking at the perversions you perpretrate makes me nauseous.
He may be wrong about Lady Gaga, but he's right about the others. Notch: Promised to try the show if his fans raised a certain amount of money for a charity whose name escapes me. Seth Green: Picture of him with Pinkie is all I have to go on, but there maybe more evidence if you search. Weird Al: He made a shoutout to Bronies in an interview. Clinton:...I dunno actually... Also... GabeN: Mentioned he has a secret love for MLP in an interview. Colbert: "I wanna give a shoutout to all my Bronies"
That... is Howard fucking Stern... a man with his own opinion... I don't care about the fact he doesn't like bronies, he actually seems like a cool guy when you get past the hate. And this coming from a fellow brony.
Are you a brony? Did I offend you? Well damn. That sucks. Not for me, I personally don't find "my little pony" as interesting as all the emotionally stunted feminine societal rejects who call themselves "bronies". I'm willing to bet that a FAR greater percentage of "bronies" are sexually attracted to cartoon ponies. They just are too embarrassed to say it, as they very well should be. It's not their fault, they've got something wrong upstairs. Don't blame yourself.
Stern's own perversions are completely irrelevant. He is criticizing the brony fandom as a whole for being composed of social failures. His own attributes do not factor into this.
You're not a loser for liking something outside your demographic. It doesn't make you some special little snowflake. Society doesn't care that you like it. What it does care about is that you use it as an excuse to make nuisances of yourselves.
"Others don't really seem to care." Do you follow Bioware on Facebook? They posted ONE picture of Pinkie Pie as Commander Shepard and 90% of the...2500 comments or so, said said they were disliking the page. A few went so far as to sell all their Bioware games. Because of one picture that was only posted because the staff thought it was kind of funny.
You like to characterize the hatedom as some sort of organized group, like the bronies except "evil", but they're not. There is no hatedom. There's just people who are irritated with the bronies.
Howard's wrong about one thing: Bronies don't need a celebrity to come out and admit they enjoy the show. Bronies need mainstream media outlets to quit giving us a terrible name by reporting on the creepiest, worst section of the fanbase, and instead focus on the positive group of bronies who simply enjoy the show for what it is and don't find anything sexual about it. I'll give Howard a pass because this is what he does, though. Can't expect anything else from him.
It's not some sort of hallmark of animation and writing. It's just the perfect sperg cartoon. Flashy colors, generic plots, mediocre and easy to understand character development, even amount of characters for shipping... Before you bring up the polls, those were rigged with bots.
Weird. You forgot to mention how we raised over $100000 for various charities, are in the military, and have a song so good it made its way into Rockband 3. Do research, we aren't neck beard cloppers.
Well, I can't see them using it as a publicity stunt, simply because of how controversial the whole Brony thing is. For every bit of good publicity they'd get, they'd get an equal amount of bad publicity. And not many celebrities want bad publicity.
Nope, I never said that, but I'm pretty sure bronies don't care much for the older incarnations, they definitely had little to do with the fandom which is mostly dedicated to FiM. Problem is Howard Stern thinks it's his business to know what strangers do in private.
I think you're confusing someone with autism to someone being a genuine nerd. Spoiler: Anyone who goes out and admits "Lol I'm a nerd too!" isn't a nerd and is just trying to cash in on the hipster trends these days.
I just saw a couple Twitter posts from him. I never actually went to his feed to confirm, though, so I can't prove it. Someone has told me those were fake, but I'll need to go back and see when the messages were supposedly posted then check out his feed for confirmation, I guess.
Drake Bell (From Drake and Josh) as well apparently. And the answer to why is that it's a genuinely entertaining program. I can't ask you to like it, but it does have a large fanbase for a good reason.
It cracks me up that Howard Stern has mocked and trashed pretty much anyone worthy of a bit of ridicule, and they're not even as close to being as offended as a bunch of grown-ass men who like something my younger cousin would watch. Grow some thicker skin.
90s? Pretty sure MLP: FiM was made in 2010, and it's the ignorance of his statements and blanket comments that I have issue with, not all bronies fap to cartoons, he targetted a minority in the fandom and extended it to all members of the fandom. Besides, what people do in private is their own business. Asking personal questions like those, and laughing about them is just stupid.
13:13, this guy would rather stay in a place full of people dressed up as ponies than get laid by a supermodel? Well at least hes honest about it.. despite how incredibly odd that is, especially for males.
How can it be irrelevant when he's picking on cloppers so much? I also don't consider something a legitimate critique of a group as a whole if he picks out a few people from a group of thousands/millions. Considering Stern's personality and reputations, it's extremely likely that he cherrypicks.
And if you want to believe that I'm one of the minority, I think you'll be surprised. A vast number of bronies are professionals. Probably just as many as aren't. Why? Because with intelligence come introversion. This show is a perfect outlet for an introvert. Much like the whole of the internet. The fact is, there are many people out there who like many different things and this is just another. So why is it such a huge problem for this guy? Because he's blinded by his own hatred and bigotry.
PostMoreGore, our society is advancing every day. We've learned to accept racially mixed couples, and society is starting to accept homosexuals. It's only a matter of time before "horse lovers" such as myself are accepted by mainstream society. But until then, I guess us bronies will just have to love and tolerate trolls such as yourself.
Thanks for clearing that up. Now I know that if you come across someone who's a brony you won't immediately assume they're a complete waste of human life or a social failure.
Anyone can donate to charity. A small minority of bronies doing so does not excuse a large majority of wastes of human life. What I don't understand about the whole military brony thing is, how is supporting American imperialism helping anything?
In fact, I'd wager that this guy doesn't like very much at all. I'd be willing to stake my mortgage on a bet that this guy is simply spurting his homophobic, bigoted ideals by picking on an easy target, just like any bully. Because that's all this entire thing is: childish bullying and name calling. Something that wouldn't be out of place on any primary school playground. Not something one would expect to hear being produced on any kind of respectable radio broadcast.
It's not liking the cartoon that makes you autistic, it's that the environment is specially made by and for complete social failures. I cringe whenever I see their sperglordery, really.
This is incredibly biased and does not represent the fanbase accurately at all. First, even though we have a lot of males in our community, there are a large number of teenage and adult females(such as myself) that are fans of the show too. Second, not all of us are cloppers. Third, most of us are still in high school or college. Fourth, males who watch the show are not "sad", they are just so open-minded and secure about their own masculinity that they are willing to watch a girl's show.
That's definitely what they did, chances are they edited out the 'normal' ones to help make their point. You know, like all Sensationalists, they ignore the evidence that contradicts their point.
I never said it was because they watch the show. The fandom just has an environment that accepts their kind so they congregate there. It's quite pathetic, really.
You can keep telling yourself that, but it doesn't stop the fact that you're obsessing over a cartoon for children. Behavior that could probably be better described as "unhealthy" than fucking weird.
You're right. Watch all you want. You're probably not going to amount to much in life anyway. I'm just glad that all the great innovators of the world, like Steve Jobs, thought more of themselves than to sit around watching cartoons like a tween girl.
Technically a "man-child" is scientifically impossible. If by manchild you mean the thing where people like to be babies, I can assure you I haven't been a baby for many years, thank you. Also, maybe I wouldn't be so quick to sneer if you were a bit more civil, instead of just spewing pathetic and childish insults at every post?
