41 mil box office on a film with a budget of 28 mil that you’re still talking about almost 30 years later? We could only wish to “tank” that badly, lol
@@revjeffg Wiggy STILL talks about it so until otherwise, I’ll continue to point out it was a flop. It topped 65th for all movies that year. The budget was certainly hire than that when you factor in all the massive amounts of advertising. It’s also why he never did another movie. After PP tanked, any other offers required Wiggy to put up his own money. No way he’s giving up his marbles for a project of his. Even he has knows it will be shit.
@@revjeffg Pity you don't know enough about the film industry to know those numbers are disastrous. The 28 million didn't include the promo budget which was likely another 10-15 million. When the division of ticket sales between the distributor (Rysher) and the theaters is complete, most films need to make roughly 2x their total budget to break even. 1.5 years after the release of the film, Rysher closed it's production gates. I wonder why?
