It’s funny, Howard said(multiple times) that the jury was too dumb to find him guilty. Robin would rag him, as a much as she would, essentially claiming he’s jumping to conclusions and basing his opinion on race. Howard was 100% right.
I almost got fired when I was 18 listening to stern because he said the N word over and over while i was letting people into work listening to him but he claims he never said it lol
I just deleted my comment that this Howard was color blind and this sounds harsh but I laughed when I lived as it was happening. I don;t have anything against a little civility but we sacrificed honesty for political correctness and I think we have a chance to grow from honesty at least. honesty by the way doesn't mean blatantly racist. It means talking about what others are thinking. How can we grow as a country if we're constantly lying. I like civility which I used to think was PC because I don't want blatant racism EVER to be acceptable ... but dishonesty stinks because wihout starting at truth we have nowhere to go.
but don't blame Howard only for the distance we've not come .... He's gotten older and a little more restrained. If he offended a lot of people back then, I missed it too but if he did, i'm sure he'd rather have been funny without doing harm. We all grow up and some conform and others apologize for what they never had malice when they were doing it. Howard is and was a very funny man. I know things have changed. Honesty gives us a chance to grow. PC if it's strictly repressing what's in our heart--what good is that.
Wow robin was actually smart here. This was early on so she got it right that goldman was not expected and that the defense can say whatever bullshit they want but the prosecution cant they have the one guy on trial & have to prove it. Oj s defense can throw suspicion on different people bc the burden of proof is on the prosecution. They have a harder job than the defendant plus they have to convince all 10 jurors or get a hung jury. The civil trial is much easier its not beyond a reasonable doubt and i believe u just need a majority . Also in the beginning girls did dig mark fuhrman i remember a news report was done about what a hunk mark was. Man this trial ruined his life all bc he picked up the phone at 3 am. If he didnt another detective would have been on the case. Oj should thank fuhrman everyday bc the trial became the mark trial . The public was even more fascinated by fuhrman than oj. Also howard was on the money about how that day oj was doing that show how to kill someone the silent kill slitting her throat. Everything worked out perfectly for oj. The prosecution did a terrible job u just had the rodney king riots which became la vs the lapd and mark fuhrman on tape saying the n word and a very dumb jury. One idiot said im not even kidding " if it was 1 in a billion it wasnt oj how could that be bc theirs more than a billion people on the planet." Oy vey
