The latest generation FRAMA 7800 is a fully functioned Floor Joist machine with the option to add additional framing or custom tooling. Howick’s convertible machine design overcomes many of the compromises that go with making multiple sections with adjustable tooling.
The FRAMA 7800 Convertible Machine gives flexibility to run different profiles in a single machine, ranging from 150mm to 350mm (6" - 14" ) in gauges of 1.85mm to 2.5mm.
The FRAMA 7800 machine includes the standard functions from Howick’s Market leading range of FRAMA steel floor joist machines such as Crimping Cut-off, Joist Tab, Swage connections and Swaged Service holes with the flexibility to produce up to 5 different width profiles each with its own dedicated set of tooling. As well as the provision for additional optional or custom tooling. Such as options for additional Dimple or Flange Holes, web or service hole or slotted deflection header slots.
The FRAMA 7800 can be ordered with a single set of tooling to produce one framing size or with up to 5 different tooling sets allowing additional sizes to be added at a later date if required.
Profile changeover takes approx. 30 - 45 min with skilled operators.
