This year's Super Bowl Mahomes actually did turn the ball over in a big moment and Purdy outplayed him and was turnover free. Purdy missed some wide open throws, which top QB's like Burrow would have made. The two fumbles by the 49ers and Kyle's decision to abandon the run game and have Ray Ray McCloud return the punt cost the 49ers. Pat should have never won any of the 3 Super Bowl MVP's because he wasn't the reason they won any of the Super Bowl's. It's blasphemous that the league always favors Mahomes with special preferential treatment. Everyone wants to talk about Josh's turnovers well without the officials throwing their penalty flags Mahomes would have an additional 50 turnovers

I disagree. I'm a Chiefs fan, but I think it's healthy and natural to hate the team that keeps winning it all, while your team can't make it. Especially if that team directly ended your team's postseason (or postseason chances). If I were a Bills or Bengals fan in particular, I would definitely hate the Chiefs.

We seen as well with scrubs like McNabb who couldn't hang in the league post Reid. Tape tells it all. Just take away throws everyone can easily hit and coount drops as completions and dropped picks as picks. You'll find out how good a QB really is. Mahomes is an all time talent with a great arm and a savant in chaos/off script but outside of that there isn't much special to his game. He can't process post snap and got a below average deep ball. He u Is not even the best QB in his own divison. In 2021 and 2023 he wasn't even good. Casual People just can't seperate the QB from the playcaller and supporting cast. They just didn't prevail... and I would argue that you can't say: "Oh, his coaching sucked" if you get to the SB with a shot at it four times. The 'Below Average Deep Ball' tell that to the 49ers who watched a great deep ball in the SB, and same with the Ravens in the AFC. Mahomes has taken a receiving corp that would work render a lot of QBs in an absolute desperate wasteland and took them to a SB win last year. That's a big part Andy, yes, but the person who has to adjust and make the plan work on the field, to make people work out.. the only person who can do that is a QB.

Brady's stats are only better in volume, not a per-season rate. If Mahomes plays even close to as long as Brady did, Mahomes will shatter every single record Brady has.

Counterpoint. Brady played in the AFC East for the majority of his career, which was god awful for the majority of his time with the Pats. He coasted to a first round playoff bye almost every year largely due to that benefit. Now, the NFL is playing a longer season, and only rewarding the top team in each conference a bye. Mahomes will have a much harder path for the majority of his career. And the crop of QB talent in the NFL right now is insanely good.

You mentioned the ones where he played well and lost but not the ones where he played poorly which greatly outnumber the losses. He won 1 SB by throwing 1 TD the entire postseason, won 2 SB's by scoring 13 points on offense (only player who's ever won by scoring that few points in the SB), won an AFC and NFC championship after throwing 3 INTs and that doesn't even include multiple 2 INT games and another AFC championship when his 3rd pick was waved off because of Dee Ford. You bring up the 2 Giants losses, but he played poorly in both (14 and 17 pts). That's not even mentioning the tuck rule, the Edleman catch, or any of the multiple cheating occurences. So the bad games he won greatly outnumber the great games he lost. Brady had Moss for 2 seasons and won 0, Mahomes had Hill for 4 and won 1. Both had excellent TEs and Brady never won without having a top 8 defense, Mahomes has already won twice without a top 8 defense. Outside of Hill, Mahomes has never had consistent receivers the likes of SB MVP Edleman and SB MVP Deion Branch.
