Hoya Carnosa Compacta // Care Propagation And Blooms 

It literally opened up night before we were leaving. I had to film it or I would miss first blooms. Of course I had to smell it because I knew you would ask 😉😂.

I’m so glad you were able to save yours! 💚 I Definitely would not want to deal with pests on this Hoya. Have your Hoya bloomed for you yet? I’m not sure if fast video is good or bad 😂 but I been filming short videos since we are so busy. Day that I filmed this video we were living for our trip to family cottage to remodel second bathroom. We are still here working. One day I will come here for actual vacation. @@ElenasGreenPlanet well, to me-your videos go fast because I truly enjoy them!!! It just seemed like this one went so quickly today! Yes! She has bloomed multiple times. She got repotted last winter 2021 and she wasn’t super happy. She didn’t bloom last Summer, but I’m hoping for this Summer! She usually blooms really well for me! 💚💚💚

It will bloom for you soon enough. 😊 I just got home from my trip, it’s been nine days since I filmed this video and blooms are still there. I’m pretty amazed how long they last 💚.

Hello, I hope I got a translation right. Hoya vines do dry up sometimes. I would not worry about it too much. It will start growing a new vine.

@@ElenasGreenPlanet omg, mine dried up too, and I have just one vine 😢 If I cut it off, would it just give another grow point? I have a few nodes where leaves formed but dried up too..or would it be best not to touch it

@varanchio It’s hard for me to know why it dried up since I can’t see your plant. It could be under watering or overwatering or pests. I guess it depends on why it dried up. If it’s a root issue, I would definitely re-root that vine. If it’s a pest issue, then it needs a treatment. I guess the first thing I would do is take it out of the pot and check root system. If it’s fine, then put it back in the pot and rinse the plant very well and maybe do some kind of treatment on it. I hope it helps.
