They're cute aren't they?? Thomsonii is a bit hard to find right now. May be it'll get better in spring or summer when the Hoya start to grow

I have the serpens! I love it, I have it in a 1gal. Cut at the top, filled it up with charcoal bottom, spagham moss and the serpens in a pot. She has lots of white roots so I guess shes is happy.

i recently bought two unrooted cuttings of Hoya vaccinioides! they're on their way in the mail, I'm so excited 🥰 do you have any care tips? I'm a bit intimidated cause I'm just starting out and I only have experience with more common, thick-leaved carnosas haha

have you dealt with root mealies before? oh my gosh i found them in my peperomia verticillata! good thing it is not in one of my hoyas! do they spread fast??? i had to throw away the plant and just took some cuttings😭

Fortunately I don't have to deal with root mealies. From what I know, they're hard to get rid of because they hide in the soil. One more effective way some of my friends had success with is to take out the whole plant and soak the roots into hot water. The heat will be strong enough to kill the mealies without harming the roots
