Welcome to the third video of my new series "Hoya of the Moment"!! 🎉🌿🌸 In this series, I'll go over one Hoya species at a time.
Today's "star of the show" is Hoya multiflora, one of the most underrated Hoya in my opinion!! ❤❤❤

Is this a True Hoya?? Leaves are not thick or wax looking????

I love this one! She is a beauty for sure. And those flowers love it. Mine is a bit in a shock, the leaves are turning on me. I think it received to much direct sun. Also our February freeze in Texas did not help. I removed them and now I see baby leaves. I think I need to cut her back to see if it helps.

My Multiflora’s root is coming out the bottom hole of the pot. I need to repot, but always hear that you shouldn’t repot while blooming. Mines is always blooming from different spots! Do I repot?

Normally, I wouldn't recommend repotting when the plant is blooming. However, it has to be done somehow. I would be as gentle as possible to minimize interrupting the roots.

I have one tall vine, 14 inches high. Do I cut and propregate this fall? How do I get a bushier plant?

Yea. You can cut and propagate to make a bushier plant :)

Only problem I have with Hoya Multiflora is if I move it when flowers are opening buds drop. Can’t even take it over near the sink to water it. New buds stay on. Also flowers drip thick fluid. It is one of my favorite. Appreciate your efforts to educate our plant community

Yea... buds blast sucks!! I tried not to move my Hoya when they're budding. I literally just water it at its spot.

i’ve had a (baby) multiflora for about two months now and it’s done nothing for me. i think it’s maybe regrowing its roots because it’s all still green. but i have some questions. how would i go about propagating it? how fast of a grower is multiflora in your experience? should i water it like a peace lily? and, because i could never find the info on google, do you know of any other terrestrial hoyas? i think they’re pretty cool

Hoya multiflora can be propagated by stem cutting. I root it in sphagnum moss. It's a decent grower in my experience. I would consider it faster than most succulent Hoya. Other terrestrial Hoya I grow include Hoya chewiorum, Hoya 'Iris Marie', Hoya odorata etc.

hello, can you please give me the link to the film, where you talk about the two types of hoya Burtoniae. I remember the film, where you hold them side by side together, a nd the one is smaller and has darker lives. I tried to find that movie, but you have so many and I failed. (I love all of your hoya films, learning so much. thank you :) )

Is there reason why my flower buds fall out while it’s forming? :(

Buds blast can be caused by many reasons. Most likely there's a change of the growing factors such as watering, light, location of the plant, fertilizer etc. Basically any change of the growing environment can result in bud blast. When I see buds forming, I tried my best to keep eveything the same
