Woahhh you getting into hoyofair that's a freaking development rt there!!! And believe me the genshin community is one of the most brilliant, talented, creative community out there they do give us a ton of great stuff❤

the moonlit bamboo forest is actually a book that tells a story related to the three moon sisters. they used to take turns going through the sky but at least two of them died and one of their corpses is the moon of teyvat's sky. theyre related to the acient seelie race so the woman who saved the boy from drowning is one of the moon sisters

OMGGGGGG A HOYOFAIR REACTION!!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The hoyofair creators go WILDDDDD. And this is just one of their smaller ones too. The ones usually at the end of the year is a whole compilation of a lot more so I hope you'll be hyped for that! Would love for you to react to their previous Hoyofairs too-- Starting from the early Mondstadt ones because atleast those don't have much spoiler! Then again, you're catching up with the story so you'll be able to understand them in context. Though, the later Hoyofairs would sometimes include World Quest story-inspired animations, but honestly you could imagine them as movie trailers to get you hyped for when you get around to the quests! 24:29 Funny you should say that, because in the recent Hoyofairs, creators have been using this time to give us episodic animations! This particular Genshin FPS animation actually started with last year's Hoyofair with their first episode there, and this one is another installment! The same way that the "Progenitor" animation here at 35:32 is already at its episode 3-- they put out 2 other animations in the past two Hoyofairs! And omg it is telling SUCH an amazing story! I hope you get to enjoy them soon! It's also best that it's enjoyed in the context of Hoyofair first, because there's other things outside of it that's only best known AFTER you watch it (which I hope others wont spoil). 44:59 also I hope you'll turn on CC next time! They do have English subtitles both during the livestream and in their vod. In the bigger Hoyofairs, there's entries from other communities (such as in this one, we have them from Japanese creators) but Hoyofair is always kind enough to give us English subtitles for accessibility, so best have it on to get the most out of its contexts! With all due respect and aggression, I cant wait for you to see the Hoyofairs with Sumeru in it. You are going to LOVEEEEEE the Cyno cameos there!!!!! Ever since I started watching HoyoFair, I silently wished I was as talented as all these people. I've always loved this side of the Genshin community ❤️ Aside from the arts and animation, I also love the music. I have some of it from the previous HoyoFair added to my playlist. You're lucky 'cause there are no spoilers in this year's HoyoFair 'cause the theme is a film festival. If you plan to react to previous HoyoFair, I suggest watching it in chronological order 'cause there are some videos that are related or based in what happened in game. That way, you'll be able to avoid spoilers since you haven't done some of the quests yet. And like the Progenitor video, you will also be able to watch it in order 'cause the previous episodes were released from previous HoyoFair.

Thanks for doing this. I hadn't seen this before although I enjoyed previous Hoyofair stuff. I'd recommend one particular musical number but it's best watched after you've done Sumeru stuff (Kaveh and Alhaitham) to get the full impact.

This hoyofair really went all out tbh! They also had an offline showing in theaters in jp and kr for this. The previous ones have really great music too One of my faves being "The Diagnosis" with Tighnari, Cyno, and Kaveh about Alhaitham 🤣🤣🤣 Hoyofair vids usually have subtitles too! For the next ones you plan to watch 👀

Nice! Reacting to Hoyofair! Moonlit Bamboo Forest is based off the same book name in the game. I suggest giving it a read in the Archive if you got the books especially after you know what happened in Sumeru - it talks about the moon sisters - as in it suggests there were 3 moons in Teyvat's skies in the past, but now there was 1 after a fallout. There's theories that Paimon might be one such moon sister since Paimon also looks like the Welkin moon girl. Another good read is The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies (the book the abyss mage stole in Lisa's quest), this one is highly sus because you only ever get the first volume and only the first volume in the game. Game has yet to release the rest since launch.

God I love hoyofair! This one was more action than most but I loved it all the same. The community is so talented fr. Edit: I also love the different variations of bands and groups we get for the singing portion especially last year when the CN VAs made the Anemo boy group song (without Aether I think tho)

Her c1 basically cancels her charged atk which is like one o f her main sources of consistent dmg and the tech sort of replaces it if u don't have it. 56:56 This mob isn't in genshin, but its concept is based off some lore from the fontaine arc. ALSO PLS CHECK KIERU!! THEY ARE ONE OF THE BEST ANIMATORS OF HOYOFAIR AND LOVED BY MANy
