Shot one tonight at the shop I work at. Impressive. Wall is great, very little vibration, smooth draw cycle and FAST. The cams aren't jumpy like some of the competition. Didn't have a sight on it so groups weren't good. I've been waiting for Hoyt to come out with a mid-range bow that splits the difference between the flagship and the Charger/Power Max for years and now they've done it. I expect it to become one of our biggest sellers.
Thank you for doing the video you explained everything Well. I have the same bow most people that do a video on this bow are vague and don't know what they are talking about.
I know you are a hoyt man. I have two hoyts my self. But I just bought a Quest thrive and it is the most impressive mid range bow that I have ever shot!
Your crazy if you do. There is not a Hoyt made that is even close to your Triax. Why would you want to pay 4 to 6 hundred more, for a bow that is no where close , in dampening, silent, and accurate? I use to shoot Hoyt. I will never shoot a Hoyt again. Hoyts company is a great company, but they way over price their bows. In comparison Hoyt should be 2-3 hundred cheaper then a Mathews. Their dealers are garbage. The dealers will not work with their customers. Do you plan on transferring your sight, rest and so on? If so plan on paying 60 to 80 dollars more. Do you plan on buying new sights and accessories? Plan on paying 60 to 80 dollars more to have them installed. Also you will pay more for them too help you paper tune. Good Luck
@@Life-of-Bluegrass_Musicyou’re out of your mind. Watched a triax blow up in front of a 300” bull. Bull gone, bow gone, matthews elitist idiot….. walking back to the truck to go right to the bow shop. Shot my bull 3 hours later with this bow… 😊
You shouldn’t play music while firing the bow...it’s touted as a super quiet bow and your music doesn’t allow us to hear that at all. Otherwise thanks for the video I hope the vibration isn’t bad like I’ve seen comments mention.
You are the man, I shoot a carbon defiant(love it groups at 100 are in 6-10inch when i do my job) , and the carbon redwrx ultra, need some help is there that big of accuracy improvement to the new carbons and nitrux? not sure if i want to sell my redwrx ultra for new carbon or this bow, thx any info will help,
Hi John _ im struggling to pull back on my thumb release to pull and follow through my shots any tips and drills that i can practice ?every time im at 50 or 60 yards i want to punch the trigger and its frustrating me_ 😔 Thank you for you're time 😉🍻
I do believe Martin archery had the first single cam bow in 1975 n first vibration escape modules in 1992, when another company was born.I thought,I would put that out there .I saw a video on the nitrux 27.5 d.L.@70# didn't catch the arrow wt 299 fps.I like that
A budget bow lol, well wait 4 to 5 months and get other bow company's flagship bows for 870-890. The Mathews Tactic is faster, more silent, more dead in the hand, and a smoother draw. Also the Tactic is a lot cheaper in price.
Mathews Triax I think the nitrux is worth it. Our local shops have them for 600-700 dollars. Maybe it’s not worth it to some, but people have been complaining about Hoyt’s prices (which they’re ridiculous) for a while now, Hoyt finally releases a new bow for under a grand and people still complain
Do you really think so or do you think that he just really does like Hoyt’s equipment. From what I have seen so far he tries to be unbiased but does have one when it comes to Hoyt.
