ok. but his little soft "hi im hozier" actually made me tear up a little bit. his singing voice is so strong but hes so //soft// i might cry.

it's so rare to find an artist these days who doubles as a skilled poet, but hozier is such a talented and passionate lyricist. we don't even deserve his music

its so magical that he can sing really low in cherry wine and really high in from eden. im so in love!

Makes me travel to beautiful places that don't even exist.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the kind of magic that autotune can't create. Pure talent!!

Call me crazy... but his voice is therapeutic to me. I'm extra sad today, listening this makes me feel better.

I dream about having my own place, open window with the wind gently blowing in, and Hozier playing on a record player. It’s a simple dream but I can’t imagine anything more peaceful.

The way he says “Honey” makes me melt

He actually hasn't produced a single song that i don't love. Why is he only gaining popularity now- he should be ruling the goddamn music industry!

Even his voice crack is flawless

Notice how in most of his songs he's mentioning "your other man" "she stains the sheets of some other" and so on.. this is how true music is born, from grief

Can we appreciate the other people back there? I don't know their names and that makes me sad, cause music is rarely a one man show and the backing vocals, percussion and strings make this a beautiful song as much as the breath-taking lyrics and voice. That cello solo was awesome!

The irony of Hozier's lyricisim. Just tragically beautiful, his poems. The masterpiece of his music makes one's soul listen so achingly.

Just imagine: Crowley and Aziraphale walking past a street performer in London - it's Hozier, and he's singing this song. Crowley recognises him as a guy he met in a bar a while ago; the one he told all about him and Aziraphale. He realises that Hozier turned his words into song, and nods at him as he walks past. He mentions it in passing to Aziraphale, who (being incredibly flattered) researches more about this artist. He soon realises that most of his songs (which he had posted on RU-vid) somehow link to him and Crowley. He smiles, and performs a small miracle. Soon, Hozier becomes popular, and people really get to see his talent, thanks to an angel and a demon. This was just a bit of a word vomit tbh, sorry if it doesn't make sense.

I always think of Hozier as the male version of Florence Welch. Softly spoken, but with a pure and strong voice. Both are poets and not just singers.

Don't know what but there is something about this song too!!!.....might be the simple chords or the break up of chords or the words don't know but there is something special about it!!!

I listen to everything from heavy metal, hardcore, punk rock, jazz, opera, bluegrass, and more and there is only one way you could dislike this song... you have a terrible ear for quality music. The lyrics alone are absolutely brilliant.
