I have Asus Vivobook 17 with same specifications but I cannot play games like AC Origins, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Resident Evil 2, etc. These games shows error like this “ the application did not start correctly (0x000007b)”, I have tried every fixes like installing and updating graphics drivers, directx and microsoft visual but it won't work. In my laptop even 7 to 10 year old titles like far cry 3, gta 5, watch dogs and call of duty black ops 2 is giving average fps of only 50-60 in 1280×720 lowest settings. I don't know why my laptop is underperforming. But one thing I have noticed that game which requires minimum of 1gb vram or less than that(ex: 512mb vram) is running on my laptop and the game which requires more than 1gb vram(ex: 2gb vram) is not running on my laptop.

Paaji actually vega igpus can push almost double frames when it's running on dual channel ram ...as the bandwidth of the gpu gets double...try it in dual channel for full performance.

I recenty bought the 15s-eq2008 version (8GB RAM/1TB SSD). The model is very good - snappy cpu, respectable igpu, good IPS screen and battery, very light and comfortable. The only downsides are: - only 1 stick of 8GB/3200Mhz RAM. Easily upgradeable, since there is another free slot. I bought another 8GB/3200 stick for dual channel enabling and now it feels even faster and the iGPU can be fully utilized. - IPS screen calibration was kinda off (greenish), easily fixable with Windows color calibration tool. - Only 2 regular USB slots and no Ethernet port.

@@vaibhavnayak233 It's pretty okay, but not the adverised 8 hours. For basic use - documents, RU-vid, browsing it's about 4-5 hours, but in heavy gaming mode it drains for about 2, which is expected. Probably the 8 hours are only when browsing without multimedia or offline tasks, I am not very sure what HP states. Still much much better battery life than my old Lenovo G710 - even new it lasted about 2,5 - 3 hours tops. It's amazing how energy efficent became the laptop hardware in general in the past 5 years.

Data science matlab tensorflow, ml, ai models na. Models toh mostly log kaggle, colab pe karte log (vohi recommend hai). Also, kuch bhi ho jaye, discrete me nvedia gpu hi lena, not amd. ( Kudh ki mistake bata raha hu, because amd ka rocm koi support nahi karte, bahut tough hai set up karna, while nvidia k cuda drivers, easily supported hai tensorflow, pytorch me)
