This really shows how much we're taking it in the ass by the buying those expensive cartridges...i have not used inkjet since the late 90's though...it always dries up on me and i have to toss the printer....no such problem with todays affordable lasers...

Good video & great information. But HP 2677 , 680 black & 680 colour cartridge can be refilled only twice after that having printing more than 300 pages, cartridge stops working even if it has ink left. Unable to reset ink level for HP All in one 2677 printer ( firmware cartridge locked). So CISS system is not possible..

i like it, i am technician printer and photocopier in differents marks.kyocera, minolta bizhub, canon, sharp, samsung, ricoh, nashua, lexmark, hpdeskjet, hp scanjet.

For a long time (I had a C4280 for 14 years) HP printers were already excellent, but today I suffer on the skin with a multifunctional external ink tank (GT 5822) that with little use and 16 months of use failed to recognize the black head, and I can't buy a new head (I got it after a long time but it still didn't work) or technical assistance. According to HP technical guidance I will have to send to São Paulo because in Rio de Janeiro there is no technical assistance. I will still have to pay for shipping and return without counting the amount of the repair (becoming unfeasible). The printer is now 1 year and 9 months old and is now only for paper weight. Consumer advice, do not buy HP brand as you will be adrift with the equipment. Por muito tempo (tive uma C4280 durante 14 anos) as impressoras HP já foram excelentes, mas hoje sofro na pele com uma multifuncional tanque externo de tinta (GT 5822) que com pouca utilização e 16 meses de uso deixou de reconhecer o cabeçote preto, e não consigo comprar um cabeçote novo (consegui depois de muito tempo mas continuou sem funcionar) e nem assistência técnica. Segundo orientação técnica HP terei que enviar para São Paulo pois no Rio de Janeiro não tem assistência técnica. Terei ainda que pagar o envio e o retorno sem contar com o valor do conserto (ficando inviável). A impressora está agora com 1 ano e 9 meses de uso e agora só serve para peso de papel. Conselho de consumidor, não compre marca HP pois ficará a deriva com o equipamento.

I have following doubts, if you can help me with: Q.1) Placement of Ink Tank:-- Should the ink tank be place at the level of the printer, above it or below the level of the printer. I suppose below is a definitely no here as the ink flow in cartridge will not be possible if the ink tank is below the surface level of the printer. "So should the ink tank be above the printer or at the same level on which printer is placed???????" Q.2)Print quality of the aftermarket refill ink:-- Print quality of most of the aftermarket inks that are filled in the CISS system are very faded and dull. Please suggest the best quality aftermarket refill ink(If its only sold in your area, will you be able to ship some stock for me). If not, Can I use original refills bottles of other companies like canon, or original HP refill inks like HP GT51 and GT52 Q.3)Rubber plugs on Ink Tank :-- There are four rubber or plastic plugs for four ink containers. Please confirm if they are supposed to be closed or open during the printing operation? Q.4) Printing frequency:-- Is it really mandatory to print at least one b&w and color page daily so that the ink in cartridge do not dry and clog the cartridges Than you

The ink tank needs to be at what level to the printer,how many inches does the printer need raised,I was thinking the tanks needed to be level above cartridges but I keep seeing below cartridges?....IMPORTANT TO ADD OR IT WONT WORK PROPERLY

Esta muy bien, pero si se te seca el cabezal, o se rompe, a volver a empezar. Estas maquinas no están preparadas con un cabezal poara hacer 1.000 copias.... son cabezales muy sencillos, cuando lleves 200 copias, , adiós cabezal.

Sir you can copy the hp GT series ink tube position .hp GT series prienters & hp 3635 design are same . In this process Prienter create unwanted nosie which happened with my HP deskjet 3835 .I watched your video & when I was installing the system I mount the inkTube below scanner . It's create some unwanted noise when Prienting then I copy the hp GT series ink tube position ,after doing that the inktube didn't touch Prienter inside parts & no extra noise.you have to do only one more rectangular hole on the middle top plastic of ink cartridges access door and a insert T shaped attachment below scanner

How the H3ll did he know which hose goes to what color without making them....all this video has cure my insomnia

how about the counter.if the cartige is empty machine does not work anymore,so new cartige is needed ,also the counter once it reaches120 or so printed pagesi machine is alted till new cartige is installed.
