HP Ink Tank 310, 410 Printers - 'E3' Error (Carriage Jam)
This document is for HP Ink Tank 310, 311, 315, 316, 318, 319, Wireless 410, 411, 412, 415, 416, 418, and 419 printers.
The printhead carriage stalls, the control panel displays an alternating E and 3, and the Resume light blinks. A paper jam might have occurred previously.
Step 1: Look for jammed paper
Step 2: Make sure the carriage moves freely
Step 3: Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet
Step 4: Reset the printer
Step 5: Service the printer
but the problem is encorder strip !!!

Following this video's and change my pinter encoder and solve e3 error. I thank you .Technician said against my penter problem is very difficult and three parts will be changes encoder,carriage board,and cartridger.

Mantap. Anyway bisa gak kita ngeprint hitam tanpa printhead/catridge warna di HP 310? karna printhead/catridge warnanya bermasalah. dan apakah bisa di service?

klo ada 1 yg blinking kayaknya gak bisa print gan,untuk cartridge bisa di reset dengan kombinasi tombol,ada kok tutorialnya di channel lain,tapi klo uda di reset bisa pke print,klo uda parah kadang direset cartridge nti balik lagi error blinkingnya

@@BayuFirmansyah0 hati2 krna kadang kala uda ganti cartridge masih error biasanya yg rusak home carriage nya gan,ada baiknya bawa ke service saja biar gak resiko cartridge gak terpakai tapi uda kebuka segelnya

is that cartridge red blinking?in this video tutorial the main problem is carriage un controlled, it's different problem with only red light blinking without impact sound inside,difficult to solve without error video. sent to me on Facebook heru aladdin

My printer showing 1) E3 error , 2) paper is not picking inside and 3)cartridge struck at right side after moving. Should I change encoder strip since I changed it few months ago? He don't look bad but little ink mark on it which I cleaned by cloth This problem started when I removed Paper struck at the middle of printer immediately. No broken paper inside printer when I checked.

e3 error indicate isn't always encoder strip broken,i was find the similar case and solve by replacing the home carriage assy,
