Pues culero y todo el video pero a mi si me sirvió jejejeje gracias por el aporte, mi modelo es HP nc6220, justo ahí donde el se ve que presiona algo, no esta presionando algo, sólo te muestra que hay un conector de batería que alimenta a la BIOS un cable negro y otro rojo lo desconectas, esperas 5 min prendes la lap sin conectar la pila y listo el password se quita, una vez que se quite puedes conectar nuevamente la pila, ojalá sirva mi comentario para los que tienen dudas.
Works a treat. 2 comments - firsly part of the top cover obscures the CMOS cable plug. If you remove the 2 screws either side of the plug you can lift it high enough to remove the plug. Secondly the computer MUST be started with both batteries removed/disconnected and the BIOS entered, then exit saving changes for this to work.
@spurs4life08 The admin password he is speaking of is not in windows, it's the bios password. There is a power on password, but in order to change bios settings there is an admin password as well. Clearing the cmos should reset it. However if the procedure didn't work for you then the password isn't stored in volatile memory and a simple cmos drain will work. It's cheaper and simpler to buy a replacement logic board for $40 than hours using solder joints to attempt to reset the bios.
1.- Quitar la bateria solo funciona en algunos modelos de HP y Compaq NX6320 o HP 530 por ejemplo y entre otros modelos que tienen 2 opciones para almacenar la contraseña de la bios en el CMOS y en modo super seguro en la memoria EEPROM. Necesitas bajar el manual de servicio de tu equipo y leer que opciones tiene, pero claro esta que el password esta en la EEPROM sera imposible sacarlo.

2.- Hacer el corto en el chip EEPROM no siempre funciona los pines a juntar con el 4 y el 8 (Tierra y voltaje) (GND & VCC). Esto no permitira volver a poner nunca mas un password nuevo a menos que cambies el chip de la EEPROM por uno nuevo (Una persona calificada tiene que hacer esto).
Hello I have a NC6220 and I do know my administrative password and I can get into the bios but I cant see how to clear the administrative password. I there a way to do this without taking the laptop apart? Regards Steve
hello not you move, but is supposed to disconnect the battery cmos connector cable with a red and black and leave it for several hours and still gives me the same problem, the power-on password can help me explain it in the video thanks
