I have the Notebook 15 2021 model. And it's touchpad doesn't have physical seen right & left buttons. It's just smooth. It's much sleeker.

I am on this laptop and i hate it. wanted to see what other people think about it so watched this. i really hate its load fan noise, it gets really hot sometimes. another this is its usb port placement, they are on they same side of the laptop & are REALLY close together which makes it literally impossible to put more the 2 usb at a time which is stupid because i use a wireless mouse. also how does yours have a nvidia sticker? its intel uhd only right?

Could I run two 16GB Corsair gaming ram sticks in this? I've got the 256GB Intel Core I5 and also want to bump the ssd's to a Corsair 500gb ssd. I'd also be focusing a work station around it. it'd be cool if its touchpad can be locked like my previous laptop does. i primarily use a mouse to navigate and i lock the touchpad so I don't accidentally operate with it. does this model have a feature or function where you can lock the touchpad? it'd be my first time switching to hp brand for laptops. although it won't be a deal breaker for me if it can't, i want to know if the touchpad can be locked

Since it is inexpensive laptop as compared to Probook so where is the difference? It don't even have such heatup issues like probook have? So what is downside of 15s as compared to Probook?

May I know why do i get sudden, severe fps drop (as low as 8-10 fps) for quite a substantial amount of time after playing games like dota 2, or like bannerlord with medium settings? I will need to pause the game, pull out the task manager for a while before the game can go back to norm from unplayable. One think i notice on the task manager is the cpu seems to be stable (60% +-) while gpu has many downward spikes from 100% usage. Is this due to gpu overheating? Or is this series of ultra thin laptops has poor ventilation? Or is it manufacturer problem and i need to send back for repair? Thanks. (im using du2029tx i7 btw)

You sure it's IPS? The official hp page says it's nothing but their traditional SVA display which is nothing but a TN, not even a better TN like WVA. PLZZ reply I don't need a colour accurate one but don't want to invest in a TN

i have the same problem with this laptop when playing csgo with the nvidia gpu, fps is unstable even with lowest possible graphics settings. But using the integrated intel gpu seems to be better than the more powerful nvidia gpu. Is it due to temperature or thermal issues? I think the mx330/130 should perform better but due to hardware design of the hp laptop, both gpu and cpu thermal throttles when playing games. This laptop is not a good option, even for very light gaming.
