You still had the fans set to auto and not manual, that’s why the fans didn’t get louder or quieter when you changed from quiet to turbo

I see a lot of people complaining about HP Omens. I have a Omen 30l with 5800x and 3080 since like 2022 and ive never had any issues at all. other than having to change to psu but that was my fault. Good pc never had any thermal issues. people who complain about thermals on this i feel like are just nerds.

Hahaha usually the complaints come from people who buy it from best buy or any other retailers, the hp website ones are always the best ones to get, and I agree with you, HP sent me an HP pavilion in 2021 that costs $700, so a budget pc, and I gifted it to my friend, it’s 2024 and he’s still playing with it and loving the performance!

Interesting. I'm prolly gonna stick with the 30L on this list for my friend. It'll have a 6700XT and 12400T/F. Can you take out the drive bays? and is there decent airflow through them if you put a fan there? Can you pop out panels on the drive bay like for the rear top fan mount?

@@maybacher the drive bays are pretty much glued in there unfortunately, the airflow is decent , I was able to pop a 5800x3d in the motherboard I’m surprised HPs proprietary motherboard even allowed CPU upgrades . Was simple trade in from a 5800x and just worked . Also have a 4070ti twin size in there and everything works great .

@@theboy2777 wowwww. I saw a video from 8 days ago where someone took a die grinder to the 30L and carved out a hole for a second 120mm fan. That seemed to work fine. I wonder if I could take this a step further and take out the omen light and cut two holes for fans. The pc in question would only have nvme storage anyways. Wouldn't be needing the drive bay. It even seems that I would have no choice but to rip out the drive bay for the XFX 309 6700xt to fit.

@@maybacher I think I seen that exact video . Yeah you could also add a noctua fan like run underneath the GPU if you want extra airflow . In my experience though I haven’t had any thermal issues .

Guys I've just put a Oman 45L motherboard in my 40L case (I bought it on eBay). Now I have a intel 13th gen 24 core CPU and 64GB DDR5 memory. The upgrade was way way cheaper than buying a new or used Oman 45L...and if I end up getting the RTX4090 Graphics card.. I was able to get the 40L 1200 watt PSU which has the video card connector on it..

HELP NEEDED I bought an omen 40L for my daughter and a LG 32" TV or monitor i have a hdmi cable hooked up but the graphics are fuzzy looking. I am computer challenged and would appreciate any helpful info on better picture quality. It's a surprise present for her

@ShadowGamingPC1 I have a displayport in the 2nd slot from left on rear of omen it has a blur like when you take a picture of Xmas trees lights. The other port audio was not working. I bought a new hdmi cable same problem w/ picture

@@xenomorph3211 If you were thinking about buying an omen prebuilt i would say dont becuase my first pc was an omen and even though it ran fine their was a lot of issues and their are so many better options that you can get. For what you want you should get a VRLA tech or nzxt pc or something else becasue what omen does is cut corners for price anyway they can.

This PC is the one with the RTX 4070. But, the one with the 4070 Ti is faster, and cheaper because of the black Friday deals now, so I recommend that one

I need Help. My HP Omen 30L - GT13 - 1174 recently stopped turning on and I highly suspect is the PSU that needs replacement. I checked the model of the PSU and its a cooler master and it has the following information: Hp Post, No. L8409 - 001 Now when I check on the specific model no specific search appears on Google so I can't get my hands on that specific model. That said since I am not familiar with the gaming PC repair and replacement process I just want to know What other model can be compatible with this specific machine? Atleast one that is 550w or higher but that can be compatible with that specific model of HP Omen 30L. For whoever that wants to help me with giving me a model thanks in advance 💜❤️.

well I'd like to know the cooler master specific PSU model, this power supply should work amzn.to/4boUAHO But I can't be 100% certain, I recommend you contacting the HP Support and asking them if the PSU is compatible
