This is a lesson - don't buy prebuilt PCs from HP! This is an upgrade for for the HP Omen 880-001na due to a faulty motherboard Naples MS-7A89 which was doing 3 long and 2 short beeps. We tested other RAM, we reseated, nothing worked. Decision was made to ditch the motherboard which meant we also needed to ditch the incompatible case.
Decided on the Gigabyte B250 FinTech Intel B250 as this is one of the only motherboards available for 7th gen LGA1151 sockets that could be bought for new at a low price. The Corsaor Carbide RGB case LEDs are also decent case replacement.
