Sorry, I think HP did not provide a way to have an FN lock on this keyboard with a key combination. I am a Linux user so I don't have Omen Hub (runs on Windows) therefore I have no idea if it is possible to do it from it.

No, sorry, they are not.

Please have a look the chapter in the video for animations. There are built-in shortcuts which allows you to switch animations and brightness, including to stay on.

I guess it should open the Omen app on MS Windows but I am a Linux user so this doesn't apply for me :)

They feel the same to me, just different colors.

White backlit for wasd and red for other keys. You can customize the animations through a built-in key combinations as shown in the video. Also Windows users can customize it further through the OMEN Gaming Hub.

The keyboard is with cherry MX red or brown switches which have a placeholder for a 3mm through-hole LED. The LED goes through the switch and it is soldered on the board.

@@LeonAnavi ah thank. Every video I've seen of this keyboard looks like the led are on the switch itself. Thanks for the clarification.

It is a kind of an optical illusion because the mwchanical switches are high-quality and the 3mm LED fits perfectly. Btw it is the same with Gateron switches (compatible with Cherry MX) used on ANAVI Macro Pad 8 and in my video about assembling it you can see how the LED is soldered on the board.

You will need to disassemble the keyboard and do a hardware repair which most probably will require the mechanical switch. Considering that the N is in the middle of the keyboard, it might be a PCB or a solder joint issue because if you often hit the keyboard very hard it bends most in the middle.

No, it is a standard USB A connector. The keyboard works with Mac OS but considering there is no command key (aka Apple key) I don't recommend you using it on MacOS.

@@LeonAnavi I found the problem. It was happening because of the 3.5 mm jack of my speakers. Guess I need to buy a usb or bluetooth speakers.

Nice work for figuring it out! It makes sense. All these LEDs are kind of power-hungry. If you attach multiple USB devices you may also consider USB hub with additional external power supply.

the animations are part of the keyboard firmware and should work on any computer no matter what is the brand or the OS. Just make sure the USB port of the computer provides enough power. Check the section of the video about animations to learn how to change them.

No, the cable is not removable.

what do you mean? This is just a mechanical keyboard. To enter the BIOS on a personal computer with x86-64/x64 CPU you need to press a specif key at startup. The exact key depends on your PC hardware configuration.

@@LeonAnavi no. I watched a video on how to connect your keyboard to ps4 and it said that you had to put the keyboard in bios mode.

what's that video? Keyboards just have USB microcontrollers to handle keys and send signals to the computer - that's it.

These are brown switches. Blue mechanical switches are significantly louder ;)
