Hi Uber Geeks, thank you for the step by step explanation (it helps soo much!) I manage to replace mine successfully, except that I used 70 mins instead of 10 mins (your video) 😄. Just want remind others to make sure the battery cable is fit nicely back to its place so that it doesn't block the fixing of case back to the board later. That is what cost me longer time, finding reason why can't the case fixed perfectly back to the board (bulging). Thank youuu and Happy replacing it! 😊
Love this video. Detailed enough to show how to replace the battery but not overly long. Like that it shows where the longer-thicker case screws go in the case. Also like the internal components explanation of HDD and RAM.
Thank you bro I found some one throwing this laptop away and same exact one as yours and it was in a box being thrown away and I took it and all that was wrong with it was the battery baught one yesterday and was able to replace it no problems because of your video thanks man
Need to replace my battery because it is not holding a charge. This video was exactly what I needed to find! Thank you so much, I might try updating my RAM while I'm at it!
This video has been extremely helpful in giving me the confidence to repair and upgrade a laptop/pc on my own.i was able to switch out my swollen battery successfully- thank you for making this. Unfortunately I still can't seem to get my notebook to power on so I will try a few more troubleshooting steps.
I just replaced my battery following this tutorial. Especially the hidden screw would otherwise been a real pain in the ass. Thank you so much for making this video, keep up the good work.
Thank you for this video! Very clear instructions, slow enough to easily follow without being repetitive or boring. Especially thank you for pointing out exactly what model of battery is needed! At the time of this comment, only the 3rd Amazon link in the description is usable, but I know that with the information you pointed out in the video, I could have found one even if none of the links worked. Again, thank you so much! You just added another few years to my laptop's life :)
Not all heroes wear capes. This video is very helpful. It is exactly what I need to fix my mom's computer. Same model #, same symptoms. Battery not holding a charge. Keyboard is deformed. Thank you for your help!
Thank you so much for your very clear video. My battery wasn’t holding a charge at all and this video was just what I needed to help me install a new one.
Hey! Thank you for your clear video I was looking for a tutorial to safely open my pavilion, clean it from dust and add thermal paste on the processor. I'm not sure whether it was the square element on the right of the RAM bars ? Thank you 🙏🏼 my laptop has been crashing a little and heating up like crazy for no reason lately which led me to think I've gone too long without taking care of it
Excellent easy to follow instruction. Well scripted with an outstanding presentation. Camera work and lighting was studio professional. Thanks for your help.
Thanks, very easy to follow video. It was a straight forward process. Although I knew what I had to do, I wanted to double check and make sure I had everything down.
Great, the hidden screw helped me out a lot, the only question I have is when I should start charging a new battery. I put a battery I ordered off of Amazon in, looks brand new and description said brand new, and it's 56 percent full. I know they say to charge a new laptop all the way the first time you use it, but I'm not sure about this one. Perhaps it doesn't make a difference, I just want to make sure I get the most life out of this new one that I can. Thanks for the video!
@@UbergeeksBiz thanks! I charged it and it's going strong now, no issues at all. I got the laptop for cheap off somebody on craigslist knowing it had a bad battery, and it's great for what Im using it for. Came with a 1 TB hd, which is slow and thought about replacing with an SSD, but probably won't be necessary. Thanks for your help!
I notice that you are wearing gloves. Is that necessary? And Is there a safe way to store a swollen battery before I can take it to the recycling depot?
My HP laptop gave an error "my internal battery was very low." I performed the replacement battery task at your video direction. However upon turning it on, I recd these msgs: preparing automatic repair, diagnosing your PC, attempting repairs. Now what? HELP PLEASE.
@@UbergeeksBiz Thanks, I bought what I thought was a genuine HP part, it has the HP logo and looks identical to the battery in your video. It is however a SAINTEE part. NOT GENUINE. Beware.
