This video was so useful, all the videos I found were about the one with the nvidia gtx 1650, and my local store only has the 1050 one, so I really wanted to see the difference, and you made me completely sure to buy this one, thanks bro keep going with your channel you will be great, excuse my bad English btw.
Thanks for this video, very helpful! I got a HP Pavilion 15 (Ryzen 5 4600H with GTX1050) for 400usd and it arrives in a few days. I'm excited to see how it performs
@@PeterPing I agree. Don’t do what I do. Definitely unplug the battery. But doing this over a thousand times sometimes I forget 🙂. Need to remember to show that on my RU-vid videos though. Don’t want anyone to get my bad habits. Thanks for the callout.
Mine struggles with gta5 I’m going to try different games and replace the thermal paste. Any recommendations that might help. It’s super choppy. I upgraded the ram to rip jaws ddr4 16x2 and added PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD with windows 10. Also added 2tb ssd. Thank you in advance.
Same with mine at first when unplugged. I prefer to keep the minimum CPU limit to 5% unplugged and 80% when plugged. My tip would be to increase you minimum CPU limit to 95% maybe? That's pretty sketchy because this laptop overheats quite fast when we're talking about gtaV. Or you could just keep charging it. I heard that new laptops come with batteries that don't get damaged by overcharging because their chargers redirect power to the motherboard or whatever.
i have same spec but my laptop is TUF gaming and i play a lot of game. The graphic card doen't run in 99% or 100% and FPS is under 60 frame. If i setting high in verry game the graphic card run on 80% and low setting the graphic card just run under 50% :( I think the problem is Ryzen CPU + 8gb ram not oke for perfomance but your laptop gaming run well and smothly
I’m not sure what model laptop you have. It maybe a difference in TDP. HP CPU or GPU or both maybe running at a higher wattage. That is controlled by the laptop manufacturer.
