@@hobby4tech, thanks for the reply. My dv9000 has since died.. heat took out the wifi card, then the motherboard.. heat failure seems to have plagued this group of HP laptops.
@@TattiePeeler that's right, the laptop I was given had exactly this problem, to fix it you have to disassemble the motherboard and heat the graphics chip to 350°C for 1 minute with a heat gun, reassemble it and check if it works.

Ciao io ho un dv 9500 non funzionante, volevo smontarlo per capire cosa non va ed eventualmente sostituire dei pezzi. Come faccio a capire se è la scheda madre o qualcos'altro che va sostituito? (Sono una principiante e lo faccio solo per testare e divertimento 😅) grazie
