Christmas or birthday coming up? we got a fantastic deal on Facebook Market laptop £130 almost looking brand-new.
The previous owner has taken very good care of this laptop, in very good condition and no scratches looks as just as it’s just come from a shop.
Yes, it’s an old laptop was running Windows 7 with a standard hard drive now upgraded it to an SSD drive superfast booting and now with Windows 10.

Nice video, would have been even better if you went on to show the procedure for copying/cloning the operating system over to the new ssd

Probably AOMEI Backupper, since that one pretty much does a 1:1 copy of the source on the target drive.

Hard to find anything online for this. A million videos of chimpanzees with screwdrivers replacing parts, but never instruction on cloning or keeping the operating system.

I have the questions. I have the hp pavilion g6-1350sm series. I'm interested if it's possibly to put 4gb 2Rx8 PC3 Ram on the second slot, because I have 4gb on the first one. If possible can I put some better ram? Wich ssd memory do you think I can put, is possible to put better sad memory with 512gb? Is it possible to change the processor and integrated graphic card?

Can you tell me the exact detail of SSD, I also have the same laptop and want to know what configuration of SSD is required. Can I connect M.2 SSD with it, I heard M.2 are four times faster then conventional SSD

Yes the M.2 are the best and not all laptop have them yet, the gaming laptop are equipped with them but the standard laptops are very much just SSD base these days.

@@karmendrapatel6074 I have finished updating, used WD green sata SSD 256 GB. Installed win7 again. works like a charm. Boot time from 90seconds to 22seconds.

@@LF5xu how do I know which drivers are the proper drivers. I since updated to 10 and reset the computer. It finds WiFi and then says unable to connect. Please help

update your drivers, mine didn't connect it only worked with wired but after I updated my drivers it works

Yes if you can upgrade the Bois do this to see if it pick it up, some really old laptop may have issue

Hey I am trying to revive my old laptop. It is this exact model and the ssd I have is also of the same make and model. However upon entering the license key and thereafter agreeing the terms and condition, when I choose "Custom: Install Windows Only (advanced) ", it keeps showing me this message that it could not find any drives.

Make sure you have the latest bios updates install and also check you running the latest drives for the graphic card

You need to install windows on it once the drive install, check the bios that is see the new ssd and then install windows

Agree with Ross, any fool can swap drives, copying the software over is another issue, or do you suggest we buy all new software - you haven't finished this video
